I'll make a deal with you Alex: make more of an effort to camouflage your trolling over at Sally and I'll make more of an effort to contribute this
kind of content in the Standard forums.

Yeah?
I don't troll on MTGS.
Yeah? Well, I do all my deck posting in the Standard Forums.
When even conehead MTGS mods can't even really say for sure what you're doing is trolling, I'd say it's pretty inconspicuous. :sherlock:
I'm just saying if you happen to sprinkle a little bit of intelligent on-topic content into those posts from time-to-time then not only are you less likely to get carded, but it looks better on all of us.

Now, I have no intention of trying to make you do that, but I also have no intention of changing my posting habits if you won't make an effort to do likewise.
Please quote in context posts where I "trolled" without being completely on topic.

Got back from FNM. 3-0-1 split with a UWr player on top. Defeated BR Zombies, Kessig Bant (I didn't think this one is still being used), and UWr.

My list is a 22-land no Firefist Striker, 3-Pillar, 3 Rider deck. I miss Striker already and might bring him back in over the Pillars. Mauler did work, as well as GCR. Bloodrushing GCR without blockers for reach is also amazing.

Highlight of the night is my opponent topdecking a Thragtusk while he is at 3 life and has a Conjurer's Closet bringing him up to 13 with a Beast and dork for blocking. I already have a Flinthoof, a Lightning Mauler, and a Hellrider in play.

Zealous Conscripts (not a topdeck).

Nope. You know what I'm talking about and what I mean when I say to try and tone it down. If you honestly don't know what I'm talking about then never mind.

I've gotta ask. Does AIR just lose to electrickery, bonfire for 1 and rolling tremblor? Do you just scoop em up if they sweep?

The 22 land version has more play with Mutavault and Hellrider, but yeah, you're soft to sweepers that cost less than 4. Those cards see very little play online, bonfire from Jund aside, so I'm not running into them much, but if they're prevalent where you play, might be best to avoid the deck.

I'm trying to fit in Mutavault with a standard RG aggro deck and I'm coming back to where we started where we play Stonewrights.

So Theros is revealed in a few hours and I'm calling it now: Odyssey filter lands are going to be in the set.

I, for one, welcome our new overlords. These are excellent but also slow down the standard meta by an entire turn, which is exactly the type of environment I want to be playing Rx in.

SDCC booth opens at 12pst tomorrow, I'm here now but the meeting isn't until 9am tomorrow morning. Right now I know as much as anybody else, just pure speculation talking here.

If anyone is going to be here at ComicCon, I'll be one of the guys representing the Starcity circuit in the Wizards booth. They wouldn't let me wear my prince Eric outfit but chances are you'll recognize me immediately.

PS: We're already totally wiped out of black-on-black Planeswalkers. I got my set but we sold out pretty early this afternoon...something like 2pm. :scared: What's good on eBay for these right now? Can't really check on my phone too well.

Here's the last post you got carded for iirc - it would be so easy to make this less abrasive while getting the same point across and you wouldn't catch as many suspensions.

I have no doubt that you can do it. I believe in you.

Even DR said that was suspect, and he basically admitted to carding me because they're under orders to smite us whenever possible, especially if we have D2R in our sigs. You'll have to do better than that.

Of course, bearing that in mind, I could try and fly more under the radar. But I don't actually care about being suspended, if I wanted to dodge suspensions I could just make a new account on my PC and use that instead.

I guess even just one example wasn't enough to make you concede. Oh well. I have no intention of looking for any more examples so you can arbitrarily declare them not good enough.

Either you know exactly what I'm talking about and don't give a fuck (that's where I'd put my money) or you honestly don't know what I'm talking about - either way I guess there's no point in discussing it since you won't be changing any time soon.

And I'm perfectly aware that you don't care if you're suspended - I don't care if you're suspended either, but you do tend to make good posts when you're not too busy making the rest of us look more like assholes by association (we don't need any help with that) and if we are going to try and attract the better members from over there to over here it would help to have more of the former and less of the latter types of posts.

MTGS does not deserve good posts. I enjoy shitting in the toilet. I mean if you would rather use a chamber pot that's your deal. :sherlock:

By the way, what you do and what I do are so systematically similar that I can't honestly bring myself to believe that you think you're doing anything differently. I mean, come on kettle, let's hug it out.

The difference that I do try and tone it down somewhat - you don't.

Also I recognize that we won't attract the best by acting our worst every time we post over there - which is why I do try to, at least, balance out the dickish things I post with some helpful or constructive info from time-to-time.

Whatevs though.

Won the release day draft at FNM with R/b control, had the most ridiculous removal spells (including 2 shocks, 2 chandra's outrage, flames of the firebrand, and doomblade). Had 3 academy raiders too, they're absolutely ridiculous when you're the only one at the table in red lmao.

People don't need help finding us anymore, especially the types that frequent MTGS. Having a real url really made a huge improvement in traffic.

Post decent content and they will come. Our web traffic is really, really solid. That's why I keep urging people to post brews and things outside of the clan forum. People can't access them/see them as easily here.

I mean, probably not because people see Gemhide Sliver and immediately go "LOLNOPE" but that doesn't mean people aren't going to try really really really hard.

Yeah, the only aspect of the "Combo Sliver" thing getting pushed I dislike are all the 5-color aggro versions that depend on mana that the lands it runs(save for Cavern) cannot produce.

Not yet, you can just post them in Developing with a [Budget] tag. If traffic in those forums picks up I'll see if we can't get more subforums for
specific stuff like that.

Mono red is awesome with the M14 additions of shock and mutavault. I played some games in between rounds at a modern tourney today against Jund and Junk Crats and didn't lose a single game. The difference between shock and pillar is quite big, for example killing aristocrat in response to sac'ing or burning a blocker at EoT so that you free up all your mana for your hellrider. And mutavault is, of course, just plain awesome.

EDIT: I also went 3-0 at said modern tourney with Gruul Zoo. Aggro decks ftw!
