Priceless Treasures, Gems, Oddities, & Casual Pimping Thread
Hey I figured out we might just start one of these here. I'll go first.
We have to start this thread with a modicum of street cred, so here is something you don't see everyday, although it isnt by far one of the most impressive stuff I've seen around
PS: be mindful of others and spoiler your junk if you will

Ofc Teia and Rai Kerenski are going to be all "Wow where did that scumbag got those sexy proxies, but they won't ask because lol Scumbag, so as I'm feeling like a gentle sould today (I just won 750,000€) I'm going to throw the anime crew a bone. I don't think I've ever seen proper scans of these on the web, so consider it a first, courtesy of your favorite, non-corrupt magical cards website:

Boooo
Eric, Ren and Jensen were activists
Heads loaded with theory, their hearts are filled with passion
Shared the same left wing politics
Liked the same music, they were part of the protest movement
Now, Anna presented herself as a feminist
Studied the way they talked and dressed
Fashioned herself an anarchist
Eric fell in love with Anna at the meeting of the crime think conference
He didn't know it but Anna was an FBI informant

i have a judge gaea's cradle and champ's mutavault and generally am a foil whore, but my super rare cool kids wow so awesome limit is really with just those two cards.
i have a playset of JTMS foil but that's not really most of the things on that list and i picked them up before they shot up 10x in price after that one guy went HAM with $10,000 on all copies for sale online.
most of my favorite cards have been "the best printed in the game" cards over the past 5-6 years, so i just have an accidental pimp collection because i wanted foil copies of stuff like dark confidant, vendilion clique, liliana of the veil, and jace 2 and thought "hey maybe there's something to this voice of resurgence guy" at release.
aside from the champs mutavault, i don't really have any stories behind most of my cool cards so really this is just a drawn out boring brag post saying overall my deck building arsenal is
probably a lot cooler than yours.
the mutavault i found at the i believe gamingetc booth at otakon two or three years ago. at the time it was selling for around $300 and they had the copy for $200 and i had that in cash on hand so i bought it along with some other then-not-modern singles (filter lands, mostly) on a speculators gamble. i figured at worst i would have a $100 return immediately but never found a buyer for it, so since then it's just been hanging out and existing as a cool piece of magic history in my legacy binder.

I'm in the business of making internet forums, grow them, and then sell them to the highest bidder unbeknown of the userbase. My last Internet alias was Hannes.
The serious answer would be that I got the stuff before it exploded in price.
On topic, I'll scan and discuss the Jun Minagishi/Crazy Clown tokens when I get a chance.

I don't have too much pimp anymore since I sold my stuff. I held on to an artists proof Opalescence signed by John Avon. I also have four Final Fantasy themed alters that are really well done and well worth what I paid. The prize of my collection is my foil Gutter Skulk.
Standard hobos who play budget garbage should be looked upon with suspicion.

Crazy Clowns / Jun Minagishi Tokens
OK Today some more weaboo in your Scumbag menu.
Possibly some of you guys have heard about Jun Minagishi / Crazy Clown tokens. They have the specificity that they use the old cardface of MTG, although these were not endorsed in any way by Wizards. A cease and desist letter put an end to this.
From the Magic Librarities:
(See also here)
And now without further ado, I to present to you my near-complete 8th Edition series of those tokens:
Batch #1
Batch #2
Batch #3
And some extra double faced tokens that I have for play
