Where's your Followed Footsteps and Progenitor Mimic?

(I had Progenitor Mimic and Biovisionary in my FNM draft last week, but sadly was not able to live the dream)

Well, I did consider Followed Footsteps, but it seemed a little slow on the deck, and quite costly mana-wise. I preferred Cackling Counterpart, because of it being an instant, and having flashback. I didn't know about Progenitor Mimic, but it is also 5 CMC, and it's benefits are also as slow as Footsteps. That, and the card is about 3 bucks a piece on MODO.
