Tyler Durden would play red.
Get outta here, ham! Your tits are too big!

Sorry, that quote was the first one that came to my mind when I saw a Fight Club reference.

Oh, and weird story about that line ~ once upon a time, I knew knew this pretty hot, but utterly fucking stupid and annoying girl with really huge tits. She said something that finally drove me over the edge and I told her to get the fuck out of my sight. Of course, she starts to mouth off to me and is about to leave when I yell," Get the fuck out of here; your tits are too big!" She stops cold in her tracks, bottom lip trembling, and looks like a deer in headlights. She stutters," R-r-r-really?" and then proceeds to lift up the bottom of her shirt and
bra, as two of the biggest and nicest pair of tits just fall out and do a solid bounce.

I swear to god, I was speechless. After letting them hang out for a bit, she puts them away and leaves without saying another word.

I haven't seen her since.

I don't see that it's Alex's birthday in my header, but I'll jump on the birthday bandwagon anyway.

Happy Birthday, Alex.

Hell, I don't think that half of the people at my LGS have ever interacted with a girl.

Case in point: During EDH night, you'll be guaranteed to hear the following every 5 minutes -

I'll play <insert your choice of altered Magic card name>!

Choices:

(A) Kodama's Reacharound
(B) Unwinding Cock
(C) Cock of Omens
(D) Demonlord of Ass-to-mouth
(E) Explosive Vagitation
(F) Simic Sword-Swallower

Then every guy in the pod will giggle hysterically and then call each other fags.

Ugh that sucks.

Here's hoping your streak ends at 3.
@SM: sorry to hear that. Hopefully this has you covered for all potential accidents for a few years
Yeah, I don't think I can take much more of this. I've already had to sell over $1000 worth of cards to help pay for my truck. It's really gonna blow if anything else happens (crosses fingers).

Alright, enough with feeling sorry for myself. I want to give a big thanks to Windstrider for the Dos Rakis primer. I built the deck and it seriously performs.
Kudos to you sir, and try not to get hit by any large chunks of hail. ;-)
You are most welcome. A lot of that Primer came from input from various members of the clan.

You'll survive those troubles. After a while, stuff is just stuff. It might seem like important stuff, but it's just stuff. As long as you are ok and the people you care about are ok, then don't worry too much about stuff. Look at it this way: at least you had the resources on hand to help you through.

After a year of hell in 2007 -- divorce from second wife, father dying, losing custody of my daughter, and having to declare bankruptcy -- I started looking at life in smaller increments: I'm ok right now. I'll probably be ok an hour from now. Tomorrow's looking decent. Beyond that, I really don't know.

But seriously, wear sunscreen. :)

On a different note, I'm torn about something.

I'm headed to a $5k this Saturday and I can't decide what to bring. I'm bad at analyzing metas, but I'm expecting heavy Reanimator and Aggro with only a splash of the other main archetypes (Jund, UWR, etc.). I'm not how much Bant Hexproof to expect - it's only mildly picked up in the LGSs I frequent.

I can't decide what to pilot.

I love my BTE Gruul list. I've been playing it for a while, know it inside and out. But I think the deck has gotten REALLY popular. I'm wondering if I should try something different.

I like the current look of Dos Rakis. How is that holding up in the current meta?

I find it incredibly hilarious when I hear people spouting off about how English is the best language and everyone should learn it because America and Stars and Stripes et cetera. Considering English is originally, well, English. You might as well be running around shouting "Long live the crown!" with Union Jack painted on your chest.

If you seriously want your brain stem to attempt to strangle you to make the hurting stop, then go to any Yahoo! news article regarding US politics. Read the comments section at the bottom.

To be fair, the comment section on any politics article from anywhere is going to be terrible. Idiots with overstated opinions are not limited to the US I am afraid ~ there are plenty around here as well.

It's like that around where I live (~45 minutes west of Philadelphia). However, drive south or west for an hour, and its a whole different story. The Amish are fine, but step into a Wal-Mart, and you'll find plenty of Freedomese shit, and people willing to buy it.

It's not that the forum confuses days; it's that the forum updates based on the time zone a particular user chooses. So if you're at GMT
rather than GMT-6 like me, for example, the day flips and triggers the birthday widget 6 hours earlier. Thus, some of our OCONUS brethren get the birthday flags in advance of those of us here in the US.

So, since it ain't your birthday here yet, Alex, go back to sitting in the corner, you young whipper-snapper! ;-)

So, Ratchet Bomb confirmed in M14. Calling it now. Voice of Resurgence on SCG at the time of my posting is $39.99. Once they wake up and see the spoilers, guaranteed it starts to bomb almost immediately.

I thought it actually was korean, but that "zergling noise" assumption can be correct.
I'm sure that it became memetic in the old days of "zerg rush kekeke", so it would make a lot of sense.

EDIT: Duh! Seems like I'm late at that

Happy birthday Alex.

You want to hear freedomese(is this a real term?) go to the south and some Midwest states. I hate Oklahoma for multiple reasons. In the military, I'm pretty sure there are actual freedomese people, but we mostly do it for laughs/jokes.
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.
