The Granger Sandwich - an everything bagel flanking thick-cut bacon, provolone cheese, and cream cheese.

That's how you do breakfast.
I used to live around the corner from what I believe is the best bagel place in Boston - on par with NYC bagel shops, but in the hipster neighborhood so they made funky sandwiches.

My favorite:
Tequila Sunrise
2 scrambled eggs, your choice of bacon/sausage/ham, everything bagel, jalapeno cream cheese, tomatoes, raw onion.

Absolutely amazing. Comes with a side of really good potato salad too.

Thanks to NerdBoyWonder for the amazing sig!
Son, I want you to know that no matter what happens between your mother and me, it's all your fault.

Yo guys, sorry for not posting in awhile, been busy with school. Being an engineer major means periods of no fun allowed.

Anyway I'm drafting DGR this Friday and its my first draft I e plagued in a long time. I was never real great at drafting but I'm excited, this format looks like a lot of fun. Anyone here a draft guru that cab enlighten me or give me pointers?

I usually skip breakfast and truck straight through to lunch, so the current discussion could be big trouble for me.

I'm going to make a big pot of photodyer coffee and lay about my apartment, confirming that life is good.

@Calamity what kind? I'm a mechanical engineer, 5 years out of school.

Happy Anniversary, Dan! May the boy choose to sleep at the most opportune moment for you and Melissa to get some quality couple time.

Breakfast...on the days I'm not working, it's damn yummy since we started the Grok diet. Generally we do bacon, scrambled eggs, fruit and maybe some fried taters. And of course COFFEE! On my work days it's reduced to grabbing leftover bacon, steak, hamburger or whatever I have in the fridge.

@ham - glad you're enjoying the coffee, my good man! It's almost warm enough for me to start shifting over to the iced version through the day.

Last night I had another paleo lady come over and make us dinner. She ended up making a paleo chili with bacon, ground beef, onion, peppers and tomatoes. The spices were some sort of magic, sweet and savory and spicy at the same time.

She also made a spinach salad with a bunch of chopped vegetables, almonds and avocado. It was amazing, I'm so glad I found the paleo thing. I'd be a sad, fat bastard without it.

I wanted to build a Dega haste deck using initiative, but the enchantment would hamper the aggressive curve of such a deck. It might have to be more midrange in nature...

Yeah, now that I'm settled into it I am loving salads again. I'm keeping mixed dried berries and almonds around and could be happy doing grilled chicken salads daily.

BTW, after a brief plateau from having to eat opportunistically around the time of the funeral and such, I'm back on the progressive track. I'm down to 217, so
hopefully by the end of may I will be knocking on the door at 200.

RE: Russian Alara AKA Exxarion Universe (or however the fuck it's spelled)

He followed our conversation on Sunday when all the crazy shit on Sally was going down in the R/x Forum and decided he would do his best to report us (as in Alex and whoever else was posting in the new RDW Discussion Thread) and attempt to get people banned. He later explained that he had to do the best he could to protect "his" people.

So I told him to get the fuck out. He's a regular Benedict Arnold. Pretending to be our friend only to sell us out. There's a word for that. It's called a NARC. And
narcs aren't welcome in the FoS.

edit:
Added my two cents.
Make sure you report the thread, too. Preferably using the exact same wording as mine for extra lulz. :V
and says a ban in my book , so I am reporting you guys sorry nothing personal...
I'm still wondering what was reportable in my post in that thread. As a matter of fact, I posted that before I saw that
Alex had reported the OP, so I was acting on my own accord. My post there was a LOT nicer than it could have been.
and I didn't report you or Alex , I just said it was a reportable post in my book after what Alex had done.

About the pms , I would suggest you gentlemen look at dates. About guarding my own Koopa is an ex staff member of mine.

This is the last post I am making, I just wanted to clarify.

Khaospawn, rest ,thanks for the vivid descriptions of a unknown side of me even to myself.

Well, I fucked up big time and caused an accident today. I was in too much of a rush, and I flipped a bitch in the middle of the street. Didn't see a guy that was coming the other way, and I hit him. His car is probably totaled, but my insurance will cover it. My truck is still mechanically sound, but there's probably $2000 in cosmetic damage that is not covered by my policy. Hood, bumper, light fixture, grill, front right fender. So I am going to need to sell a lot of my cards in order to afford the repairs. I don't have a list put together right now, but it will include 1x of each original dual land, along with some other choice cards. Anyone who is interested can PM me and I will provide you with a full list of what I have.

@Khaos now I have an image of an old vacuum cleaner that my mom used. It had a storage compartment in the base for the power cord. When you stepped on a switch, a spring would pull the cord back inside, similarly to a spaghetti noodle being slurped into your mouth.

Updated UG list with board:

[deck]
4 Breeding Pool
3 Cavern if Souls
3 Forest
5 Island
4 Hinterland Harbour

4 Augur of Bolas
4 Delver of Secrets
4 Snapcaster Mage
4 Quirion Dryad

1 Runechanter's Pike

2 Rapid Hybridization
4 Simic Charm
3 Spell Rupture
3 Syncopate
4 Think Twice
4 Thought Scour
4 Unsummon

Sideboard
1 Artful Dodge
1 Cavern of Souls
1 Dispel
1 Dissipate
1 Essence Scatter
3 Fog
3 Memory's Journey
1 Negate
3 Talrand, Sky Summoner[/deck]

Notes:
- Unsummon is absurd; it's mostly for be-buying Snapcaster or Augur with life gain (you block their guy then Unsummon yours), which is understandably powerful. There are other cute things to do as well, like unsummoning guys who are being enchanted, being a faux dispel etc.
-
Added a single pike for the interaction with Spell Rupture and EOT Snapcaster tricks. It's also just really good against Thragtusk.
- Simic Charm is deceptively powerful, functioning as either 4 Negates or 4 Giant Growth or 4 Unsummon. Very nice interaction with Snapcaster obviously.
- 24 blue instants/sorceries for Delver, Augur, Dryad and Talrand.
- Fog is for locking out low removal hyper-aggro decks; they do a lot of damage to themselves already but can't really interact with your clock themselves; a single fog can be 10 plus life and you can easily Snapcaster it back after they declare attackers to blow them out for lethal.
- Memory's Journey is apparently great vs. reanimator, but I haven't tested it yet; I think this deck murks reanimator anyway.

I'm at work and don't have the link but what do you think about magicgameplan's Bant Delver list with Advent the Wurm and Call of the Conclave? It's something I want to try out as my first post DGM deck.

6 drops don't generally truck with 19 land decks.
Nah, I generally cast my 6 drops on curve with 19 lands about 75 percent of the time.

I played a guy on Friday playing Naya (not blitz, not really sure wtf) and he had 18 land. It wasn't some super low curve aggro deck either. So G1 he gets plenty of land and is like yeah I don't need more than 18 land look at all this land I have play 4 farseeks.

I don't feel like such a shitty player anymore

It amuses me when I see otherwise skilled players choosing awful mana bases and then griping about getting screwed between rounds. To make it even funnier, they consistently harass me about running 24/25 land aggro decks.

Too bad there isn't a helpful primer on deck building math they could read...

@Khaos now I have an image of an old vacuum cleaner that my mom used. It had a storage compartment in the base for the power cord. When you stepped on a switch, a spring would pull the cord back inside, similarly to a spaghetti noodle being slurped into your mouth.
Ha!

I do wonder where redthirst puts that thing. I mean, if he had to reel it in, where does it go? I just assumed he wrapped it around his waist like a Saiyan's tail. Kinda like doubling as a belt. Except that the buckle is a dickhead.
Well, I only have one leg, so I usually just tie a shoe to the
end of it and no one notices.

In a pinch, Khaos' beard can help turn this around.
I rarely skip a Khaospawn wall of text because I know there is always piss at the end of the rainbow.
