All I got was a nap interrupted by my peanut-brained pooch deciding to jump up into my lap and scare the piss out of me.
But I still love you, brother.

So had my first bad experience ordering shit from tcg player. Due to their cart optimizer I end up ordering from a bunch of different places. Not sure if I won't just take the hit and order from places I trust next time. Part of my order from one place was 3 ghost dads and 4 blood artists, plus 2 each of the garruk PW. I received 1 ghost dad and 2 blood artists. Which is really pissing me off because if they would have sent shit right I could have played Act 2 tonight. So I sent them a message. We'll see how this gets resolved.

I can see this post prompting the majority of FoS to buy solely from your local store now, HamAdventuresON is a great store, very fast shipping and the prices are pretty competitive.
They're my LGS and the owner set up an online wing to cash in on the web sales. He's making a killing, which means he can hold more paper events for me to jump into.
Thanks to NerdBoyWonder for the amazing sig!
Son, I want you to know that no matter what happens between your mother and me, it's all your fault.

I like how these bad players on Sally don't even bother to playtest these new cards out before making a decision. What they do instead is just spew diarrhea out the mouth on a [SCD] and wait for the opinions to come in. If they get enough positive opinions, they'll try it out. If not , they just abandon the card.
In a pinch, Khaos' beard can help turn this around.
I rarely skip a Khaospawn wall of text because I know there is always piss at the end of the rainbow.

I've ordered a few times from tcgplayer.com and the first cards I receive are almost always from adventuresON. I'm always happy when they're on my list after the optimizer.AdventuresON is a great store, very fast shipping and the prices are pretty competitive.

When I have to order from another store online (besides from The Wizard's Cupboard, my main LGS) I'll usually use Card Kingdom. The least amount of time I've had to wait was 48 hours from them , which is pretty awesome seeing as how they're based in Seattle and I'm in Florida.

Maybe the only response FoS members should give in those threads, if any, is: "what are your test results?"I like how these bad players on Sally don't even bother to playtest these new cards out before making a decision. Everyone at my LGS hates my sideboard, since I always bring in ridiculous shit in game 2 that they don't expect (Hound of Griselbrand, anyone?) or board from a lean aggro deck into some Sledgehammer variant. I love the "I'm the beat down" plan.
I think my favorite sideboard was from the week where I ran my Gruul Story Bro deck with a 4 bonfire, 4 Hellkite, 4 Hound, 2 land, 1 rancor sideboard.

I'm missing FNM because I have a gig in camarillo today, but I'll be back to spectate the midnight pre-release and I'll probably just do lines of blow at the point to stay awake through the night for my 10am Saturday release.
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.
Beatdown is hard, though.

All this talk about FNM and my deck makes me sad that I can't play tonight. For one, I have work tomorrow at 4 am, and two, I'm coming down with a nasty cold.
Everybody, just remember the three steps to correctly playing KDW:
(1) Drink beer.
(2) Play Red deck and win.
(3) Drunkenly piss on something/someone to assert your dominance.

Don't forget to pee on something. If I can find time this weekend for the pre release, I'll probably go Rakdos and hope for a Jund pool. Grixis would be nice too, but I do love a good beatdown deck.

I know that milling from the top is identical from the bottom, but don't you just hate it when a mill for 5 or 6 (Grind) take out a bunch of awesome spells? Just now playing against that mill deck with Consuming abberation, Abberation's effect triggered and I milled 2 smiters, 2 voice of Resurgence, and a thundermaw off the top! Ouch! Lost that game, in no small part to the fact that he cast all 4 Far//Away + 3 Azorius Charm!

I lmao'd.The Khaos Challenge: 30 days without public urination
Completing the challenge is sure to make you a stronger magic player and sexually attractive to both sexes.
On a side note, I skipped FNM yet again to spend time with my girl. Decided on something highbrow and went to catch a play - The Importance of Being Earnest, but performed by an all-male cast. Witty and hilarious.

Luck is better than skill.Turning in my redbro badge and mountains guys, lost to a mono red deck (using KDW) that had 4x vexing devils and 4x thunderous wraths at FNM.
I once beat a friend who had a competitve Sliver deck during tempest era, using just a bunch of random commons and uncommons I could find lying around. I beat him with Marsh Lurker.

Played All-in Red and finally managed to enjoy it, even though I've lost the last game by bringing my enemy down to 1 then getting RestorAngeled the crap out of me without finding a damned Spear / Pillar / Volley.
Then played the 2HG midnight prerelease with my girlfriend (Boros - Golgari) and placed 5th by losing a single game against Ruric Thar + Ral Zarek (hilarity ensues).
Assemble the Legion + Dragonshift is actually quite fun, I've got to say.

Just a local one, not a renown play or anything. Just a comedy based upon how tough life is (Called The Game of Life oddly enough) . I played 3 different parts in a ensemble cast of about 30. Enjoyed the experience a lot, glad I did it (almost didn't!). While we didn't do anything spectacular, even doing a small play gets you to appreciate how tough it is. Instead of "Cool Play" you kind of shift to "Man, that must've took forever to get right!". Not to much insight, but gives you a new angle of appreciation, if you know what I mean.Cool! Which did you perform in?
