Hey, can anyone make me a Fires of Salvation banner with Restoration Angel in the middle flanked by Boros Reckoner and Hellrider? And have my name on it? If the card art can be blended together pretty well like Photodyer's banner, that would be awesome too.
SM, if you aren't in any hurry, I'd be happy to as soon as I get some discretionary time. This weekend is don in as I will be heading out on Saturday to
help brother windstrider celebrate his birthday, but I should be able to set you up within the next couple of weeks. Sound cool?

My pleasure! I may have to tweak around a bit on blending in Resto because she's in a high key image (light background and colors) while Hellrider and Reckoner are dark images, but it should be doable.

Yeah, I'm kinda in love with your deck. God I know that sounds bad. Totally no homo. Anyways, I am in the process of acquiring the cards to finish it. Just grabbed 4x Sacred Foundry and the charms off ebay today. Probably stop in to my LGS later and get the rest.

Think I'm actually going to FNM tonight. I could simply go to a draft, or show up to a Standard FNM early and try to buy something relatively cheap like Khaos deck wins or hope that people are friendly and they lend me the cards for either Aristocrats or Jund.

Give Alex's deck a go. If you want cheap though, AIR w/out the white splash comes in at like $60. Only expensive cards are the SB Reckoners.

I don't know how I feel about that deck. Khaos deck on the other hand is something I'm more comfortable playing since I have a strong grasp on the archetype and I really would enjoy giving people the business with hound of griselbrand in postboard games. Probably gonna substitute bonfires with flames though.

If I could play any deck regardless of budget, I'd definitely be playing the Aristocrats or jund though. Falkenrath aristocrat+Knight of Infamy and Rakdos's Return are respectively 2 of my favorite things in the format currently.

Once I get the art laid out, it will be no issue to do an "Alex" layer...like 2 minutes. If you want a different spin on the theme, just say so; I can work something up if you would prefer different cards featured.

I'm glad you spoke up...I was tempted the other night when I was goofing around to do a Prince Eric/Mermaid-themed sig for you as a brotherly troll.

Not I:( Been sick in bed wednesday & thursday, so I'm not going this week. I'll be back in action next week, once I figure put which deck to play. I kind of want to keep playing AIR, because it has been so strong in my local meta, but forfeiting the control matchup isn't exactly where I want to be come DGM.

Alex's deck looks awesome, but it'd require me to drop about $150 on cards (I was borrowing the lands as well, and the guy I was borrowing from wants to play a crappy version of the Aristocrats).

completely scrubbed out at FNM tonight, went 0-3 with a bye. Lost to a turbo fag deck the second week in a row and just about quit magic. the local meta is pretty hostile to aggro right now and it's really disheartening since I can't afford to play anything but mono red or boros deck wins. One of the guys that beat me let me try playing his aristocrats deck for fun and it was a blast, which makes me want to play the deck more.

I'm just so frustrated right now

Turbo Fog is no joke, broski. Aside from being the ultimate troll deck, it actually does quite well in almost all metas. It has answers for everything, unparalleled card advantage, and is the epitome of inevitability. It's one of my favorite decks.

Traded a reckoner and some store credit for a Chain Lightning, a foil Volcanic fallout, a Fireblast, a Pillage, a Flame Rift, a foil Flames of the Blood Hand, and shits of other red cards. Im a happy camper:)

Don't know what the hell I'm going to do with those hings, but I do like fire.

I managed to again top 8 on a 3-1 record with jund aggro and then lost in the top 8 to the mirror. I'm not one to blame luck most of the time but g1 I mull to 5. G2 on t2 he drops 3 bte's and a boar. t3 a mangler. t4 Aristocrat. Yeah I can't compete with magical christmas land like that.

I think you can blame his good luck on that one. Even 2 BTE's is tough. 3 is just gross.

Also, I didn't realize you could build legacy burn for so cheap. If you don't play the Lavamancer one (which was apparently still good enough to win an SCG event) the entire deck is around $200 even, and I've already got most of it.

Does anyone know if burn is any good in legacy right now?
