I honestly disagree with just about everything you've said. Here's my problems with the film:
1. Autopilot. Of COURSE there's an autopilot. If you spend a 10 minute (or what felt like ten minutes) segment discussing the LACK of an autopilot....there's gonna be an autopilot installed at some point. And lo and behold....batman escapes via autopilot.
2. And this is somewhat forgivable, but Bane's voice. Think about Bane's character: Mike Tyson's body, Gandalf's voice. That's Bane. Now, re watching some of the film, it doesn't seem to bother me much anymore. Likely because of the hella awesome fight scene between Batman and Bane. So we won't count that quite as negatively as the other issues.
3. "So Bruce...you have no cartilage in your elbows or knees, you have a bad back and a bad neck, I'm
surprised you're still walking." So how do we fix this? BAT KNEE BRACE!! Almost as bad as Bat Shark Repellant. That was just awful.
4. Alfred crying again. Dude needs to stop crying.
5. What was with the whole "Gotham rising up against the rich" scheme by Bane anyway? What's the point? You're gonna nuke em all anyway. Just seemed kind of unnecessary. And why wait? You have Batman crippled in that pit, the police have been comically neutralized, why not blow the whole shithouse wide open?
6. Did not live up to the trailer. TDKR trailer was AMAZING. I saw it and was sold immediately. I figured "If you can take roughly one one hundredth of a movie and condense it down into a trailer this pants-shïttingly amazing....how could the movie possibly be rife with plot holes and poor acting? How? HOW????
7. The GLOWING reviews it still has to this day. That movie had WAY too much wrong with it to be considered the best in the series, OR better than The Avengers. The Avengers had
alot wrong with it too, but it knew it was a cheesy superhero teamup flick, and lived up to its potential. TDKR was heralded as a genre defining classic of 16" díck proportions. And it failed.
1. I don't know what that means, I assume you are talking about the "montage" scene getting Batman out of the pit?
2. Bane's voice bugged me a little on first watch, but now I actually just love it.
3. I don't know what you are getting at with this either, perhaps I'm forgetting something about the movie. Dude got his ass kicked though cause he was out of shape.
4. who gives a fuck, That was an awesome scene.
5. first of all,
something, most of them don't just murder for the fun of it (even joker was trying to prove to Batman that he was not infallible.) Bane loved turning society on its head, and probably enjoyed criminal-led Gotham more than nuked-Gotham.
6. I think you are just objectively wrong here. The movie was actually better than I thought it was going to be.
7. I honestly don't get where people see plot holes or bad acting in this movie; maybe I just am able to suspend my disbelief more then other people when I get into a movie that I thoroughly enjoy, but coming out of the movie, I was just floored by how good it was. I also didn't see much wrong with the Avengers - I think Avengers was a more "fun summer blockbuster" to go see, one that caters to the 12-year old in me that loves superheroes, but TDKR was a much, much better movie in terms of everything else important about a movie.
