You know what Talore, I'm going to put my serious hat for a minute and comment on that somehow passive-agressive quote you've made of that AZ post.

I'm mostly speaking for myself but I think others will share my views.

When we started this site, we genuinely wanted a clean sheet, in addition to moving away for the continuous harassment that we were suffering at the hands of the iridium, as well as the not-so-subtle message that we weren't welcome in that site anymore. There was a genuine feeling that I/we wanted to turn a page.

Then, as KS posted once, the very same people that had chased their demons away came here in search of these same demons, and to my dismay spent countless posts trying to educate us that all these lies about the closure of the gutter and the associated bannings were nothing that a misunderstanding, and that we needed to understand that the staff did nothing wrong and kept their integrity
all the time.

Then Nai came here with his "generous" offer of letting us do exactly what no one had even cared to do which was appealing in the Rape Cave like we were some kind of repented criminals, just so that staff could save face. For me that was one of my most nauseating experiences on the internet. Almost beat the weird things you can find lurking out there.
For a while, I thought that maybe Galspanic would be true to himself and that maybe we would be able to reach closure/A gentlemen's agreement. Except he showed his true colors at the end of his ordeal, even going out to ban my wife's account out of spite when I told him that I would never appeal to a morally corrupt administration. Lets not speak also how you guys treated a good standing member of your staff, booting him because he was administrator in a site where people were not punished for calling on the bad that has plagued MTGS. Despicable, and G_R avvy is a good summary of what you guys do in your private lounges, which is
eating the best of your children, least they threaten your internet power with their competence and their fair judgment.

So I'm sorry for not being nice, but I decided that I wouldn't take any BS anymore. When the corrupt staff wants to behave again as honest and decent people, I'll be the first in line to congratulate them and even admitting to some personal misteps during this ordeal. Until then, I'm calling a spade a spade from now on.

Basically you guys could have been content with just booting us out and enforcing whichever morally corrupt management you deem fit on YOUR site, but you felt it necessary to add insult to injury and come here to collectively educate us on why you guys acted with the highest moral aplomb, and that we should feel honored that you guys are letting us come back to the rape cape and plea and beg for forgiveness.

(when I say the you guys, I mean the staff at large, no special finger pointing at you, the offenders are well known)

The rank hypocrisy is hilarious, the whole railing on me whenever I'm even logged in here and maybe looking to participate in the community, while crying about how the MTGS supposedly treated someone for what they were doing on another site. Real classy, that.

If you're here to have some lafs with your mates then more power to you, but I feel bad for those people on here that were hoping to make this website grow. Their time and energy was for nothing. As for me, I've helped see to
fixing our actual issues and getting those people who should be unbanned able to post on MTGS again.

Guys, according to Talore, I'm ruining the site I spent countless of my personal hours improving it. Maybe I should just be demoted to technician, because what this site needs is more rules and a good spanking in the ass so that one day our management may dream at being as good as the one in MTGS, the most praised magical cards website on the internet.

Talore, please don't act like you know who is hoping for what, whose time and energy is being wasted and what we are accomplishing here. Not everything is as easy as applying for a moderator position on the biggest MTG forum on the internet.
