Before we move too hastily, I'd like to tell you more about what we are proposing:

- As a technician, you would help us with some cool things like programming with javascript to improve the card and deck tags for MTG, and also adapting it for the Vs. system (in which you'd work with checkbox. These are things which I think could be of good use also for magecraft in the future when you can move the site to a personal server of yours. You could then use the same code you'd develop here with us on your site.

- Anothr thing is that you would work with me in moving the site to the new diestoremoval domain. This would imply helping me with BIND protocols, DNS stuff, etc... Again, I think it could be an enriching experience for you too, because you would gain knowledge to assist you in later moving your site elsewhere (I am assuming you will not be staying in yourg33k forever right?

As for your other requests, I'd have two caveats to present you with:

1) We don't interact with the SQL tables, the software does it by itself and there is really no reason for needing backend access, and no reason to read PM's. Everyone on this site is personally responsible for using this forum for only legal ventures and its on the terms of service you sign when you register. So no need to be searching PM's really. This won't be happening.

2) As for the gimmicks, it is my opinion that they are part of the game. It is unreasonable to think that we can police the internet and find out the identity of every single person on this forum. I think we have seen how damaging these obsessional delusions of stalking/uncovering identities on the internet can become (see the spying on many of our members by iridium) and I do not wish to take the same path than the iridium, and you can understand why. So unless you can explain me exactly why someone
browsing with TOR is going to compromise the site's safety, that's not a thing we are willing to do.

All in all, we are a very nice bunch, and I think we would have much to learn with each other regarding website construction and management. Again if this goes forward, I'm happy to be a vintage mod on your site in return although I must warn you I've never played a single game of Vintage in my whole life despite owning some Black Lotus et al.

Btw we never met by skype, we just hang around here

You have to understand that between MTGNews and MTGS, various staff at all levels and stations have done exceedingly inappropriate things with their stations. Saying before you even have the job that you will immediately do all of the things that got people on those other sites into trouble and drummed up controversy is incredibly unscrupulous even in jest, given the sensitive nature of your position. I would vote against hiring you on that merit alone. I alone have exchanged password information with N_S via PM here, which is a sensitive and trust-based exchange between us, not you, not other staff or members.
