Actually I was actually proud of that one. One of my best trolls. It all came down to taking advantage of the inherent stupidity of iridium

It went down more or less like this:

1) iridium: Oh noes, won't someone think about the children? This is a family friendly magical cards website! The gutter is too mean!
2) Guttermods: OK, lets make the gutter 18yo+ restricted, people will have to send a picture making a statement that they are more than 18yo and want to join the gutter.
3) iridium: Wonderful! What a great idea, thanks for your understanding guys.
4) guttermods: np, glad to be of service

Mad props to BlippyTheSlug who was the only non-idiot guy who sent us a picture holding the statement on one hand, a blunt on his mouth, and giving us the finger with the other one. Every single other people would just do as we asked.

Andy Warhol was a true artist.

I actually came across that video after reading about a recent painting that sold for a million dollars at auction. Seconds after it was confirmed as sold, the shredder that had been hidden in the frame was activated and shredded the artwork, sending its remains out the bottom of the frame to lie on the floor.

It's unclear how the shredder was activated, but apparently it had been installed when the painting was first produced, sitting there idle for years before finally performing it's function. Arguably, that act was the true art, not the painting itself, and people speculate that the value of that painting has actually increased significantly following its shredding.

Point being, apparently anti-art is the most artful art of all.

Andy Warhol was practically the embodiment of that idea. It's been said that anyone who buys an Andy Warhol painting is missing the point. Anyone who takes his art seriously is exactly the kind of person that Warhol was laughing at as he made these ridiculous pieces and called them artwork.
