My play was having all townies in the wagon and both the scum and the neutral dead at the end of the day. I also had my ability as a Hail Mary had things gone awry.

Congratulations are in order for Kraj. He replaced into what could easily have been an unwinnable situation and performed remarkably.


I hope you guys enjoyed this game. The I really liked the setup and would have liked to see Stardust do a bit better. (I regret having you need 3 recruits and, had you gotten 2 before you died, would have modified it to allow you to win. With this few people in the game, it was too steep a goal for you.) I've always disliked Cults (which is precisely what he was) UNLESS they're just there. The Cult had no bearing on Town or Scum for their win-con. (I actually got the idea for that role before any others because of Rand Paul, the Libertarian Republican. All other people were randomized into their roles.)

So....feel free to discuss!! But try not to be TOO hard on me for being a bastard.

For the record, I hated having to modkill RedNihilist. I was tempted to refuse to do so and issue a warning instead because of rule 9:

9. Be sporting. No trying to get modkilled, no cryptoclaiming, no outing of your scum buddies as some twisted revenge. Please don’t try to win so hard that you ruin the game in the process.

but r_0 convinced me that would be wrong. I gave Red warning in the PM he received after using his Last Resort, shown below:

Because of that, refusing to modkill him for posting words twice in one day would have been favoritism towards Town, and I couldn't allow that, no matter how much I wanted this game to play out just a BIT more.

I considered this as well and, in hindsight, I agree that I should have done that. Especially since I'd already implemented a deadline.

Red, I hope you realize your suicide had a direct, negative effect on this game, AS IT ALWAYS WILL. Suiciding is NEVER best for the Town unless you are Mafia. Even if you get mislynched, that's information that can be had.

Or would it have been 4 alive, so me and my new recruit control the vote? I didn't do the math, maybe that would have worked out? Whatever. I'd be interested to see the full setup, Manders. Balancing a game this small without mostly vanillas is a tough task.

Thank you for the compliments but I can't take too much credit. I'm happy with my play, but with both NightArcher and Rez lurking hardcore day 1 I got to come in without any baggage and skip day 1, which is where I'm weakest. More so, there were too many town players lurking or actively lurking, which gave me lots of easy targets to attack, and made it very hard for the active players to tell what I was up to.

In case anyone is curious, I NK'd ColonelK for several reasons. ColK came across as savvy and was less suspicious of Red than GR was, and I knew I wanted to attack Red. I also had GR's defense of NightArcher to work with if Red and Pedro were a bust. With Ham obvtown and the only claimed player, I expected him to be a magnet for protection, watcher, etc. I also had godfather protection, so I wanted the investigative committee to stick around and target me. I was actually disappointed when ColK flipped as a mason. I also thought that, if cornered, I could convince the town to let me live another day and that you'd trust Ham enough to pick between me and whoever else was alive, knowing that I could likely win with the daykill before getting lynched.

Red, I'm genuinely sorry if I upset you at all. This is why you don't give in to frustration; you were absolutely right there was scum on your wagon! I don't think the town was as set on lynching you as you thought. You could have made it very difficult for me to keep pushing you.

Pedro, I hope you had fun. Forum mafia is very different than in-person, and it's very difficult to play in a second language because the words you choose can be scrutinized so closely. If you enjoyed yourself at all, I encourage you to try again. If you like, I'd be happy to help as a mentor.
