I always thought the reason Seismic Assault lost its title belt was because it didn't have a red-intensive activated cost instead of one that cost 0 mana.

Seismic Assault doesn't exist in Standard, so in that respect the comparison is moot. Hopefully we'll get more Mulch or Life from the Loam effects, as I love throwing lands at my opponent's face until they're dead.

Yeah this card will probably be a 1-2 of in Standard red aggro decks. Best case scenario is that it steals you a game here and there. I doubt it will make much of an impact in any format at least not for non-combo red based decks.
