We also have the opportunity to walk to a pro-town plane.

I'd like Pedro to hold onto his walk in case we end up somewhere unfriendly.

You are now on Shadowmoor. While on Shadowmoor, the deadline for each Day phase is set at 24 hours (if you are still on Shadowmoor when the deadline hits). This is a hard deadline, so even if I haven't called Night, no further actions or votes will be allowed beyond that time. If a lynch is not achieved, no lynch will occur.
Deadline is 24 hours from the time of this post.

What sort of "Pro-Town" were you hoping for? We were on a perfectly neutral plane, and the likelihood of a detrimental plane is just as great as a beneficial one.We also have the opportunity to walk to a pro-town plane.

Yeah, that'd be sweet, but it's randomized isn't it? We're at a point in the game where we're heavily favored but we're playing Russian roulette with the mechanics?Another visit to Serra's Realm was my preferred result. What sort of "Pro-Town" were you hoping for? I actually read that site quite a bit but its mostly because a lot of the people I used to interact with on MTGS are over there.

That's a lynch!
In the busy streets of Ravnica, the crowd presses you all even further in against the Colonel. rezombad and ZombieManders, the necromantic tag-team duo, lead the way.
"Careful you don't touch him! He might be Phyrexian!" says hamfactorial. "And I should know!"
"Yeah right," says ( G_R ), his serpentine hair waving sarcastically, "Or he's just Nicol Bolas."
Pedrobear steps forward to finish the job, pulling his sural from his belt, and whipping the lashes around the Colonel's neck. White light flows down the length of the whip as it tightens.
The Colonel's face doesn't turn purple with choking, however. That's something that happens to mammals. As the sural tightens around the Colonel's scaly skin, he lets out a draconic roar of such power and fury that it knocks the rest of you to the ground. He breaks out of the sural's hold, glares at you in fury, then takes off in flight. You hear a distant, "Next time, planeswalkers! Next tiiiime!" as he pulls the fabric of reality around himself, and disappears.
As soon as he does, the spell is broken. The reddish aura constraining the souls of the dead begins to fade, and the tug on your own spark fades as well. Many planeswalkers are moving on today, but the multiverse is safe for one more day.

Hope you guys had fun! This game was a bit of a pain to mod, and overall I don't think the mechanic was worth the work. Even for you guys, planeswalking seemed more like a distraction to the game than it was a proper mechanic. The random aspect was meant to feel like the Planechase of Magic, a bit of a random, crazy addition to the game. Not totally sure this hit the mark, though it was a fun one to design at least.
As for the game itself, I think Manders did a pretty good job here, even after death. I liked how rezombad's role turned out overall. After she was turned to a zombie I had a fun time joking with her that she's the only one who would have been made less effective by regaining her vote! Scum managed to lose a significant lead here, based primarily on behaviour, so town ended up doing well in the end despite a rough start. I think the scumteam also suffered from lack of attention though. Red could have publically announced the Devour of McDonalds, while secretly changing the target to someone else. McDonalds missed his chance to kill in the final Night since he apparently didn't realise the Colonel couldn't execute the kill, despite multiple reminders. Ironically, failing to submit a kill actually saved him the game thanks to rcwraspy's redirect.
Anyway, thanks for playing!

The planes were meant to benefit the town, and I think overall they did. Both Bolas and Karn never made good use of their direction abilities though. That was one disappointment, I guess. I think those were among the more powerful roles in the game, and could have substantially changed the endgame if the Colonel hadn't lost all abilities again.
The only two planes you missed visiting were Equilor and Tarkir. If you're curious...
Equilor - While on Equilor, players have no abilities. This does not affect faction abilities (including the mafia nightkill, the ability to vote, and the ability to planeswalk once per Day).
Tarkir - While on Tarkir, all players are Vengeful. When a player is lynched, posting stops and that player has 24 hours to choose another player to kill.

I've no clue why I neurosurgery'd GR the last night but I did (actually thought I targeted rcw), it also never occurred to me that scumbag actually couldn't use the mafia quick topic, I mean, I only read it at least a couple of times, you'd think I'd have picked up on it at some point
It also never occurred to me that Rezmo could speak to the dead (Jamie saying they could confirm Rezmo as town just came off as odd but I thought nothing of it), I just assumed Rezmo was pretending to be manders to get people to listen to him.
I felt the game was pretty winnable as scum up until I got devoured though, although I don't know who he would devour instead, I presume rcw or gr

The planeswalk mechanic was neat but I don't think there was really any motivation to actually try and navigate the planes or planeswalk as you couldn't control the plane you went to (unless you were Karn or Bolas) and you wouldn't want to leave and ultra pro town plane

I agree. The way I thought it would go was that town would planeswalk until they hit a pro-town plane, then scum would walk away and start the process again. Didn't really work out that way.
I think it would have been better if every player could target the plane they wanted to go to (maybe with a 30 times higher chance to hit it, or something). The reason I didn't do that was that I wanted scum to be able to publically planeswalk without feeling forced to target pro-town planes. Given that I did implement the rule that anyone could PM me to change their public action on the fly, this probably would have been fine. Might have even led to people using failed walks as evidence that someone was intentionally sabotaging their own walk direction. Regrets!

I think making the planes give the person who walks there an ability (an enter the battlefield effect so to speak) with an okay but mostly negligible effect would work as you would give people a reason to planeswalk more often, especially if the town is kinda at a loss as to what to do.

Yep. There were seven or eight planes that benefitted the person who walked there, and only one that hurt them (New Phyrexia). I agree there could have been more, and less planes with a game-altering effect, especially those that altered the game in an anti-town way, since they just slow the game down while you walk away immediately.
New Phyrexia, by the way, was meant as a stand-in for the fact that there was no serial killer. The Phyrexian faction was basically just another mafia team, though you were meant to worry about the possibility of a cult. Sucks that a mafia member ended up being the one to walk there.

I was trying to hold on to my ability as sort of an ace in the hole, which I now regret, I kind of figured if I made it apparent I could Planeswalk with a higher chance toward a plane I wanted I'd get targeted by scum pretty quickly. That didn't work out so hot haha. The Necromancer chat was probably one of my favorite abilities in the game though, that was really well done and it made those of us who died feel like we weren't truly out of it.

Man I totally kicked ass this game!!
Seriously, making me a zombie was a bullshit decision. It honestly crossed my mind that GR was scum trying to silence me, haha. Anybody else would have been a much better choice. After talking to Stardust, I did consider coming up with zombie morse code...but I had no way to explain it to you guys, so you'd have no idea what I was doing.
Scumbag...you did a good job. PoE was, really, your ultimate downfall. However, you were pissing me off talking about how it was all luck and we'd wasted the early days. I'm hoping that was you trying to fearmonger and you don't actually believe that.
LMD and Red: gut led me to suspect, which led to whatever I pointed out in game.
Everyone else: some of you rely on others too much. Mafia is a team game and everyone needs to do their part. If you're ever at a part where you're not sure what to do, go reread some random part. Something may stand out.
Ham: I like you so much better endgame when you actually contribute.
PEACE I'M OUT
