I rarely drink tea, but when I do it has to be sweet.

Mods have always been grey area legally and up until now have always been free because... how do you charge for content you made for a game you don't own? Valve enabled Skyrim-mod developers to put their content up for sale where valve takes 75% of the money. What did Valve do?
So that has some unfortunate implications that really suck (and some of them are major) but most of the whining is "waah I have to pay for my games"

There is a whole lot of shit on the pile for this, not just "wah we have to pay for games." I hate the prevailing opinion in gaming where people should just accept getting fucked over because "fuck you, you entitled consumer."
I mean, valve has been shitty for a while now, but this is just the cherry on a shit sundae for them.

The new tech is to take your old Mardu deck, swap Chained for pretty much anything else and then realize Outpost Siege forces Esper players to Ojutai you or die. Surprised they don't maindeck discard, but MARDU CHARRRRRRRRRM![deck]Mardu Tokens[/deck]
Chapin/Flores special from their podcast, seems like it could be pretty sweet against Esper Dragons.

LolWhen you play aggro and your opponent turns the corner, you have no hope of winning. You're sitting there like an asshole playing shitty cards. And this is basically how all of your matchups go, by definition.
When you're playing control and your opponent steamrolls you, you have no hope of winning. But at least you're playing fun and exciting cards, and still have other fun matchups as well: control mirrors, midrange matchups, etc.
Thanks to NerdBoyWonder for the amazing sig!
Son, I want you to know that no matter what happens between your mother and me, it's all your fault.

Wow that Mardu Tokens list looks pretty sweet actually.
Tokens are great vs the Mono Red decks full of X-1's and efficient burn and pretty good vs Control with all their spot removal and sacrifice effects - especially Raise the Alarm as an instant.
Crackling Doom is obv insane right now.
I might seriously play this tomororw at the RPTQ...long night of testing ahead.

I'm probably playing some version of Mardu as well. Either control or midrange.

I've been dismissing Mardu even though they are my fav colors because the lists are too midrangey for my style and I suck playing them.
This one feels JUST aggresive enough..
How has control Mardu tested? I feel like you wouldnt have the tools to fight the other control decks because you have no early pressure, they counter your stuff, then Dig and you lose...
I love how this deck can get under the control decks with tokens and back it up with powerful burn and removal and card advantage.

It's that or Esper Dragons for me, but I'm not confident in the mirror at all, so I'm thinking of defaulting to my strength in attacking. You can always count on 3 things in life
Death, taxes and FoS choosing Mardu over the 18 viable decks (including Death and Taxes)
Green decks are HUGE down here, and Mardu matches up against them perfectly.
