Are people just not interested in playing mafia, or are there some out there waiting for a more normal game? Would it be worthwhile trying to run a normal setup at the same time?

I'm intrigued by what can be inferred about the setup and flavor, my reasons for not joining sans Manders aren't related to the design, except to the extent that a flat, 7-day deadline would nerf my chances of getting sufficient analysis done pretty hard, even if it were the only game I were in right now.
