Those things are all correct and my idea was quite awful.
There are no bad ideas in brainstorming unless you're casting brainstorm and don't understand what the card is supposed to do.

Josh, I'm testing your R/g deck. It fails against the Ben Stark special. Not trying to retaliate against what's been said. My coworker and I have been discussing your article all day and we've been playtesting over a bottle of scotch. I stopped to take a smoke break to check DtR and, well, that's where I am now. :/

Yeah, that's fair. I really can't test much w/o the cards on Magic Online (and even then, it's max a DE before it gets to me). Some of my friends asked me to update the red deck and I was surprised at how quickly it won now.

My guess is since it's an Invitational and not an Open this weekend, people will actually respect the red deck to a reasonable degree. Though it's telling that almost nobody else is talking about it considering Mono Red is one of the best performing decks on MODO despite being over represented.

It's a great deck, don't get me wrong. Your article is a great sell and it has everything mixed together from my own brews and some of LP's brews. It's solid.. Like I said, my coworker and I have been talking about it since 7 am this morning. However, it has a HARD time against RW's lifelinkers and removal.

I don't think it's embarrassing. I wouldn't do it, but people have gotten free money for much more stupid reasons. I assumed it was more a way for your friends to help, not total strangers.

If you want, edit it back to something less gimmicky.

Sure, I think ways to gain life are super important and why both RW and Rhino decks aren't going anywhere despite a lot of brews kinda ignoring them.

Kait, as usual, you're not wrong. It's a tough pill to swallow, but you're right: asking for money opens you up to some ridicule/jokes/whatevs.

I still believe what I'm doing is the right thing. It's my last option and I have to see it through.

Don't listen to a fucking word any of them has to say. They all have donation links in their twitch stream and at least Tom (possibly others) have full time jobs. They're just as panhandly as you, sorry some of them have actual name recognition to +odds on donation EV, while you just have passing similarity to fictional television character/real life person who plays fictional television character.

They're being hypocritical dicks because groupthink and virtual anonymity. It happens in here. It happens in the gutter. it happens everywhere on the internet. Don't let the opinions of people stop you from having fun; you're not hurting anyone, people aren't hurting themselves for you.
