Steins;Gate - Eccentric tinkerer figuring out parallel spacetime by trial & error. Nods to hard science, zany crew of unlikely assistants, Saving The Hot Scientist.
BACCANO! - Narrative depicted by intertwining threads of an ensemble cast. Beautiful animation, high production values, lots of frames that stand alone as art.
Samurai Champloo - Just watch it, man.
Black Lagoon - Bitches with guns. Lots of fanservice, but these chicks aren't just eyecandy.
Serial Experiments Lain - My pet favorite. Best described as "If Neal Stephenson & Cory Doctorow got together and wrote a little girl."
King of Thorn - Survivors of Mysterious Virus uncover its origins, and why they're in a post-apocalyptic wonderland. Film, not a series. More beautiful art, but fairly brutal.

Trice is great. I was playing red devotion against blue devotion and after beating the guy, he challenged me to not 1, but 2 rematches and kept getting stomped.

Talking about loli-pandering and red decks? Time to renter the conversation...
So what's everyone thinking? Redonedrop.dec with Zurgo or a more sledgehammery/devotion list? Personally, I'd love to start brewing the latter.

Ire shaman is the goddamn truth. Zurgo is the shit. It's a 2/2 for 1 THAT CAN BLOCK.
The biggest evolutionary leap was that with flamewake phoenix as my 3, I had to make my deck better at attacking.
Biting the bullet and throwing anger in the board also helped.

That is very likely not the shell for Nykthos and, if so, Eidolon gets cut for probably War-Name or Ire Shaman. Don't really know what I want for the 4 random spells... guess I could actually make it two color and go with Treasure Cruise or something.

LP, have you considered Lightning Berserker over Zurgo? It seems like it'd do more for the deck considering it's not Legedary, a mana-sink, and helps better enable Ferocious and Formidable. It also blocks better in most circumstances... might be worth testing.

I've tried both and they're about equal so I just when with the guy that has more power.
I'm considering swapping purph and bersker.
ODDLY ENOUGH zurgo's better in mutliples then berserker.

some nice week 0 garbage that beats all these durdle piles without tons of early game interaction.
[deck]the maindeck
critters
4 Zurgo Bellstriker
4 Monastery Swiftspear
4 Foundry-Street Denizen
3 Ire Shaman
2 Mardu Scout
4 Dragon Fodder
4 Hordeling Outburst
burn
4 Wild Slash
4 Lightning Strike
4 Atarka's Command
4 Stoke the Flames
lands
1 Temple of Abandon
4 Mana Confluence
4 Wooded Foothills
1 Forest
9 Mountain
Sideboard:
2 Goblin Heelcutter
2 Temple of Abandon
4 Searing Blood / Roast
3 Arc Lightning
4 Outpost Siege[/deck]
I know LP had this deck built and ready to go. Main diff. was I liked starting G1 with a low land count and just sucking up not being able to cast Command sometimes. Ire Shaman could be Eidolon or more Mardu Scout, but Ire Shaman is passable as a 2-drop and GREAT when you flood / transform board vs. removal heavy decks. Rabblemaster died to everything in the Mountain mirrors and couldn't take advantage of it nearly as much as Jeskai and friends. Arc Lightning / Searing Blood vs. Roast comes down to how heavily you want to board vs. tokens and red compared to catch-all against Forest decks.

@LP: Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.
Also lol Khaos still at $0. Don't feel bad, I've let so many GP byes go to waste because I live in an island.
I'll fund something when payday rolls around. If a bunch of us all chips in $50 each...
EDIT: Discussion moves so quickly here I missed out this entire page of posts.

I played 3 prerelease this week-end, went 3-1 then 1-3 then 2-2
Every pool was Red heavy, so I was really pleased (opened 2 Kolaghans, red common foils etc.) but all my lost were to Green base decks. Their creatures was all the time stronger and I could'nt manage to get through. Other losses due to mana flooding/death.
Prerelease isn't very exciting as in my LGS you play against a lot of casual players but at least I can feel that the draft format can be very aggressive and some synergies might viable (picking green mana fixing into 5c good stuff or picking high dash creatures).
On another topic, a lot of standard events are incoming next weeks so I would like help some advices. I played RW (and Mardu) last season and I don't want to show up with RDW atm. Do you think RW is still viable, I mean with the addition of Regent as 4-drop and the Searing Blaze I think it's still well positioned.

In a pinch, Khaos' beard can help turn this around.
