Tymaret isn't the crux, but he's certainly an important piece of the puzzle. He gives reach to blocked d00ds, can be overextended, fits warrior tribal and buffs battle brawler.
Saito's list
4 Bloodsoaked Champion
4 Tormented Hero
4 Mardu Shadowspear
3 Ruthless Ripper
4 Pain Seer
4 Mogis's Marauder
4 Mardu Strike Leader
4 Bile Blight
3 Hero's Downfall
4 Obelisk of Urd
14 Swamp
4 Polluted Delta
4 Bloodstained Mire
1 Hero's Downfall
4 Thoughtseize
4 Herald of Torment
3 Murderous Cut
3 Ulcerate
Mardu Strike Leader is most definitely a thing. Need more time to figure out of it's a thing for the format now or just a thing in fantasy land.
I think Obelisk of Urd is a quality piece of tech, especially if I have a low under% against some particular deck; this shell needs to swarm, attempt to skirt blockers, burn, recur if extended into judgement.

You have a virtual 4 mountains as a baseline, but your extra multilands are either painful (not the worst thing since you want your game to end before a wrath or immediately following) or ETB tapped.
I think I may recant my suggestion for additional burn, or any burn at all, given that your curve starts at 1 and ends at 3, with a lot of 2-drops in the middle.

I'm flattered...Too many people in the MTGO community are sitting around waiting to talk shit because they don't do anything else particularly well.
Speaking of which, where the hell is redthirst?
redthirst is redthirst, fifth Horseman of the Apocalypse. He was the leader of the Fires of Salvation, the only clan I'm aware of to get modded off the forums so hard they made their own forums.
Degenerate? Sure. Loudmouth? You bet. Law abiding? No ****ing way.
Great guy to have around? Hell yes.
I love the D...

So, I really want to go to GP Vegas, but I'm pretty sure my finances won't allow me to. I'm foolishly thinking about trying one of those kickstarter/gofundme things to raise the means to go there.
Am I being crazy?

Wow, you went from 0 dollars to 3k instead of from 0 dollars to 0 dollars, how ridiculousYes. It's ridiculous trying to raise money on Go Fund Me. I've had a campaign going for the last 4-5 months for the treatment of my wife's Lyme disease and we've barely raised 3k.

Shop for your plane tickets & book hotels on Tuesday/Wednesday; it's when most price-matching algorithms will set weekly upper/lower limits. North American airlines in particular release fare ratings on Tuesday mornings.

Everything that costs money. What's the big roadblock? Travel, hotel? So, I really want to go to GP Vegas, but I'm pretty sure my finances won't allow me to. I'm foolishly thinking about trying one of those kickstarter/gofundme things to raise the means to go there.

I'm making less money at my job than I was 3 months ago and I'm starting to feel the effects of it. Miami was possible because my 2 friends and I jumped on everything way in advance. I never even thought about going to Vegas until the other day.

That's with blasting Facebook friends every day and basically feeling scummy inside for doing it. Add that to the fact that treatment of Lyme costs tens of thousands of dollars and can take years of care. My point was, it takes a ridiculous amount of campaigning to raise any significant amount of money on Go Fund Me. No need to be condescending.Wow, you went from 0 dollars to 3k instead of from 0 dollars to 0 dollars, how ridiculousYes. It's ridiculous trying to raise money on Go Fund Me. I'm insured. It's just that there's not a lot of Lyme literate doctors that accept insurance. This is because insurance companies are reluctant to pay for claims relating to Lyme. And that is because the CDC guidelines for diagnosing and treating Lyme disease are dangerously outdated and flat out wrong. My wife actually had a doctor tell her that, "Lyme is a belief system." An actual medical doctor said this. You wouldn't believe the lack of Lyme knowledge in the medical community.

Yeah, right, I guess I knew that. Lyme disease is apparently very hard to get treated in Canada (even though it's covered) because it supposedly doesn't exist here. Someone I knew ended up going to the States for treatment because their doctor just said, "It can't be lyme disease - we don't have lyme disease in Saskatchewan!"

Yeah. I'm supposed to be able to provide for my family, and then something like this happens. I've already had to pay about $2000 out of pocket since the beginning of the year for my wife's, and now my daughter's, treatment.you felt scummy for begging your friends for money? well you have more integrity than someone I won't mention.

No, that's not what I meant. I think I said that wrong. I was providing context. I meant that I'm supposed to provide for my family, and then my wife gets sick. And that sucks. I didn't think you were telling me not to feel scummy. Sorry for the mis-communication.I wasn't saying you shouldn't feel how you feltYeah.
