Choose two -
  • Prevent all damage target instant or sorcery spell would eal this turn.
  • Target player sacrifices an enchantment.
  • Put a +1/+1 counter on target creature.
  • Target creature you control fights target creature you don't control.
That explains why people keep coming over for chicken nuggets

i was waiting for the day they would print an instant speed 2cc hunt the weak and here we are.

this is certainly a mish-mosh of available effects to choose from. i predict this card sees play in whatever little kid GW deck people try to smash dromoka into, since having a fight effect when your opponent can't cast spells is pretty saucy.

it will see no other play and die in its home 50 years later.

Some people are calling this the best card in the set. I think that's a stretch, but it's a sweet one.

Your Rhino kills their Rhino

Also, almost every deck plays 1-2 relevant enchantments

Has some great versatility
Standard hobos who play budget garbage should be looked upon with suspicion.

i don't think it's the best rare in the set but instant speed fighting with +1/+1 counters and enchantment removal are all effects you realistically would want to include in standard which is why i think people are going to jam this right away.

i think abzan has better cards with these effects available because theros block exists. post rotation i feel like it gains a lot of value, even with the rotation of the lions share of enchantments in the format.

killing a rhino and a courser with one card is an infinity for one you're going to see no less than every SCG stream from now until courser rotates, tho.

edit: i forgot that GW devotion is a deck that really exists, regardless of abzan or any other combination of colors and cards.
