In my dark times, I remember that the standard we live in is not a standard where both Thoughtseize and duress are legal. We live in an era of despise and thoughtseize, night and day to a reality where duress is a legal spell to cast in the standard constructed magic format. But tomorrow is a new day, and we all must press on. Today's dawn was different. Today's dawn ushered in joyous news: duress is being reprinted and it will, for a time, be legal with thoughtseize in standard.
I had worried I would not live to see that day return. But I am safe and whole again at last.
