Only because you have never actually played either game.

You strike me more as one of those Manaless Dredge players that only pretend that they actually know how to play Magic.

Thanks for the advice gents.
I trust myself to be objective about my losses. My score pad is scribbled with things like "if I had fetched a shock instead of a basic, I ciuld have won this game" so that hopefully, in that instance, I learn to value clock over conserving life. I trust myself to be objective there.
When my draw is land, land, leyline, Inquisition, inquisition, intangible virtue, spectral on the play vs burn, that's a good keep. Then I rip his Destructive Revelry then he top decks another one and I never draw another land, I identify that as variance. I do not believe that it was my fault in that scenario. It was a peach of a hand. Doesn't get much better. But my opponent who runs 18 lands drew more than me (running 25) and I lost. It's hard for me to accept it was my fault.
The attitude of accept that and move on, while wise, is easier said than done. I have a pretty good idea of where I stand in my local meta, who's better, who's worse. It's easy to accept a loss to a better player. It's hard to accept a loss to a worse one, after the scenario I described above.
I suppose I need to:
A) Respect my opponents more
B) Laugh off bad luck
C) conduct myself as I would on camera
D) Complain less
E) take deep breaths
That's where I'm going to start.

LD, your list of things to improve on is good. If you want to take the card game more seriously, I would also add preparation, fine tuning, and keeping metrics of your games handy (if you're not current adept at rebuilding games and game states, practice it). Find out where your weak points are and build there. There's also something to be said for taking a break and refocusing everything.
Also your talley is never going to include "lost a million dollar hand." Remember that the money isn't yours until you've won—so saying losing a game means you lost $X is a logical fallacy.

His ideas are noble and righteous but he presents them far too nerdlike to be taken seriously. He's basically saying, "bad luck happens but you should never blame it," which is almost helpful but his unwavering stance and ignoring the lolfactor of bad beats acceptance makes his word walls more shit than anything at the end of the day
Standard hobos who play budget garbage should be looked upon with suspicion.

like on a recent draft video, LSV was facing a total pile and he flooded out. He laughingly said, "yeah, I'll be medium if I lose to the Feed the Clan deck," and lost. He acknowledged he wasn't thrilled about it, laughed it off and moved on. It had nothing to do with anything Dechs said. It's okay to point out good or bad luck if you're not making a habit of blaming it for everything

it sounds like someone who in the long run has made a mint off of magical cards and whose singular loss in an 8-man does not impact in any meaningful way his lifetime record.like on a recent draft video, LSV was facing a total pile and he flooded out. That's a good action plan.I suppose I need to:
A) Respect my opponents more
B) Laugh off bad luck
C) conduct myself as I would on camera
D) Complain less
E) take deep breaths
That's where I'm going to start.
There is exactly one, and over the course of a week he detailed exactly what the problem was. Some of us sincerely wanted to help.FoS and tilting has been a recurring theme lately with multiple people seeking help
