I played a non B/x/x deck for the first time in months, it was weird
Also this deck is sweet, stole it from someone on the source
- Sideboard is meh, I never really wanted Tormod's Crypts (not enough graveyard based combo in my meta me thinks), and seemed too clunky, with the amount of cantrips in this deck, I feel like I could hit any number of 1-2 ofs almost at will, prolly gonna play this list as is for 1-2 more events before I fuck with it (-2 Wear/Tear +1 Crypt +1 disenchant, I for some reason do not have 4 wear/tear and apparently they are impossible to find, I had an extra card and couldn't figure out what it was until I checked the list after round 2...which was crypt, worked out that it put me at 15 cards exactly so w/e)
- Miracles isn't as hard as I thought it would be. Ascendancy is a 3 (meaning it dodges the counterbalance curve entirely), and faerie conclace and fatestitcher have to be hit with removal, so you can actually combo through counterbalance/top, plus Dig/Cruise are 8 cmc, meaning they will almost always resolve through CB/Top
- RUG is hard, I feel part of it is due to mistakes on my end, but the matchup seems hard, resolving ascendancy is stupid difficult preboard, Mongoose is a problem as you can't tap it down ever, thankfully not too many people are playing that deck anymore but there are a couple of people who do in my meta
Only have had the chance to play a handful of mu's to be honest but the deck seems alright though

Would compare it more to show and tell, not quite as simple but you tend to want to wait and sculpt your hand them go off, but here you can play control for a bit, or turn into a pyromancer deckIsn't this just like jeskai stoneforge or miracles or whatever
except your 8 different cards happen to include jeskai ascendency and fatestitcher?
