I went to my folk's place for thanksgiving and they started talking about rape without fear of causing a shitstorm.
It was refreshing and it made me really uncomfortable.

I'd enjoy hearthstone more if my Zoo skillz hadn't deteriorated to shit. Couldn't get out of rank fucking nine four x hours. Switched to mech mage and ranked up like nothing.
Can't play Zoo either now, though I watch some legends stream it and it looks fine. But then they run into Warrior w/ War Axe or Mage with Duplicate and X/4's and the whole deck folds. At least Mage has Chugga Chugga Chugga to get it through. I think Hunter is just better than Zoo as far as swarm cancer decks go, though I will admit the new Implosion / Sea Giant versions are pretty cool. Sometimes the RNG just gets old though with those cards, I play Mech Shaman and I win and lose a fair number of games based on spare parts / totems / crackle damage rolls. Most of my reasonable hands roll though, you've got enough control / burst to beat Mage typically and Warrior comes down to turn 2 axe or bust. Zoo is the same way, either they get tons of cheapies and manage to outlast you or you just burst them down, they trade off and you either blast them for the last 10 with burn or play Jeeves and laugh.

Worst match is Hunter which is generally better at racing / flooding the board than you are. Annoy-o Tron is a huge help though and the 2nd best mech in the game oddly enough. Besides Mechwarper I'm not sure if it was a great idea giving every Zoo-ish deck a two mana Sludge Belcher.

Pre-GvG, I remember reading a zoo guide talking about how retarded it is that the warrior match is war axe or bust. If they don't have it turn 2, lights out. Personally, outside of mech mage, I don't think the Zoo matches have fundamentally changed THAT much, it's just that I keep screwing up positioning or making bad calls on trading/racing. I just feel retarded. The RNG is tilting sometimes though. I'm not playing soulfire anymore, but I don't know if that's correct or not. Implosion IS a pretty sweet card though.

RE: mech mage, it feels like a weird cross between merfolk, affinity, and burn. When I first started playing the deck, won so many games to topdeck second fireball, exactsies. It also feels like it has the best nutdraw(aside from the druid player I played yesterday who played turn 2 doctor boom boom. Real life...). Annoy-o Tron really is aptly named. I was playing token paladin early today that played it and coghammer for the soul purpose of putting your opponents on life tilt if they ever planned on attacking.

Now I'm in the mood for making decks. I updated ramp druid which was basically just adding doctor boom boom and grove tender. The other things on my radar are Tempo Mech rogue and a midrange shaman build with antique healbot and possibly vitality totem(though that card feels like a trap).

But before all that, gonna try to hit legend either tomorrow or after the PTQQ Saturday with most likely handlock. Finally hit rank 5. Do you play Boom Boom in Lock? Apparently Strifeco did at a big tourney recently and did well, but it seems subpar for ladder play as a lategame minion that only stabilizes the board, but doesn't tuant you up or heal you cheaply?
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.

http://bmkgaming.com/understanding-fel- ... ne-theory/

Scroll to the bottom of Kibler's article.

I've been playing that with Azure drake in the Fel Reaver slot and I won approx. ten in a row from rank ten to seven and 3 stars.
Thanks! I managed to make it by dusting some stuff. Well, I skipped the Fel Reavers, decided that Sludge Belchers might be better in that spot anyway.

Let's see how it goes.

Edit: At first I thought that the spell count was low for Antonidas, but then I realised that the Spare Parts are spells as well. So sweet to play him on turn 8 and follow up with a Stealth Part... :D

HS arena has kinda gone to shit. Even more so than before, luck during the drafting stage influences your performance more than anything else. The extent of power creep is insane for a game this new.

EDH is designed to promote social interaction. It is founded (and dependant) on a social contract otherwise known as a gentleman's agreement. Unsporting conduct (whether extreme or simply "being a jerk") should not be tolerated by players. Refusing to play with antisocial persons is the fastest way to better EDH community.

With EDH winning isn’t necessarily the ultimate goal you should pursue but rather you should look to have fun hanging with your friends.
I don't get it. Do normal people not have friends who get together to have fun trying to one-up the tryhard level everytime and improve at the game?

edit nevermind, I heard my lgs was doing commander fnms and I thought maybe I wanted to get in on that so I looked up a guide. Apparently there exists a 'french' banlist that people use for 1v1 that would get rid of bullshit ideas like what i quoted
