Ugh, only I can take what should be a good day and turn it into a disaster. I win the monthly drawing for a free box, win several games that I had no right to based on mulligans, and make it to the final round undefeated. My breakers are so bad that, after we play a couple games, I offer a draw to get him into the prize pool. Store Owner, whom I have had to correct multiple times on rules issues, gets furious saying that I cannot do that even after I show him the specific rules stating I can and he changes the result of the match.

Since it happened in the middle of the store, everyone heard and I saw all sorts of looks that tell me my credibility with them has taken a big hit. I am not sure that I even want to show him my response from Wizards confirming my ruling since I doubt it will do anything but foster more ill will. I would find another store but this is the only one within reasonable driving distance that has any decent competition.

On top of that, the box had nothing good in it.

The only catch with that is there are very few places to play. Two other stores near me. One is filled with little kids playing with intro packs. The other has a fairly competitive field, but is a 45min drive away. That is a bit long just for an FNM. I am trying to do this without embarrassing him since there has already been enough drama between him and myself with all the other mistakes he made. It makes me wonder why I bother trying.

Red is the best mono color in EDH. Next comes blue and black, which are tied. Then White.

Red has a lot of good options for generals, but is also the color with the narrowest design which excludes a lot of effects that are really strong in commander. I think blue is better because it has counterspells and tutors and has a few good combo generals (Arcum and Azami, mostly). Black would be better if counterspells weren't so brutal against it. Green needs strong generals that don't lend themselves to easily disruptable strategies. White is just bad.

It depends on how we decide to evaluate creatures.
Obviously, you can't just look at average card quality, since 95% of creatures never see play. You're really only playing a select few in your deck. But while blue decks play good creatures, the decks are still mostly noncreature spells, and there still has to be a way for blue to lose points for being unable to build a good creature-centered deck.
However, if we judge a deck based upon strength if the deck is centered around creatures, than red clearly wins because goblins, followed by green with elves and other big stuff, followed by everything else.
