Well I personally have a lot more I could prepare to debunk the Belza fiasco as I noted in an earlier explanation, but I was hoping Boubs would come through on what he said. As for us bashing the staff and everything, he should have told Sene not to come here to engage in healthy debate if he doesn't want such topics being talked about.
Standard hobos who play budget garbage should be looked upon with suspicion.

Harkius, problem is (the way I see it) that I have no patience for passive-agressive attitudes, which are an integral part of the cancer that plagues the staff.
You wouldn't call it hostile to post where someone is from when you're calling them out for not logging in? Really?
You need to check your reality switch.
When someone starts asking publicly the opinion about the fate of a community to those who used to represent the community, but also claim they are scared of posting on the new forum the guys set up, and then people indulge him registering on their turf, and asking explicitely access to the place where discussion is taking place, only to be banned without further ado, following up with a public post with "well, it
seems people are onboard with my idea so lets just move forward with it", I just find this whole ordeal to be pathetic.
Pathetic.
If Galspanic stopped behaving akin to a "Village Simpleton" maybe I'd feel less inclined to call him out on his passive/agressive ways. Except that everyone lost a crapton of time with his willing to "fix things" (like calling back kcw to make "the last Gutter post(TM)")
Also I do not appreciate having words being put in my mouth. If Galspanic wants my our opinion, he should ask directly, not post passive-agressively "well I have read their forum and it seems they are totally onboard with my awesome ideas, so lets just do that exactly". Not very polite if you ask me.
If people at some point decide to behave like adults, maybe I'll consider treating them like adults instead of calling them out on this kind of stuff.

If weve heard your piece why the fuck do you keep repeating it?Sene:
Your posting here will have no outcome that is positive, unless you're trying to stir up shit. I've told you that, and your continued posting here suggests to me that you're trying to cause problems.
MtG Community:
You've heard my piece. You're all making an unwise choice.
Are we not giving you enough attention or something?
Here have some more.

Hahahaha you need to change your reality batteries pal.You wouldn't call it hostile to post where someone is from when you're calling them out for not logging in? Really? We mods (admins?) can see more information about each user in their posts, just by opening up a little tab there. I wouldn't call that scraping IPs in a hostile fashion.Possibly because you scrape the IPs off of guests in a hostile fashion, just to try to make them post?I dunno, but one of them is from thehey Sene, who are our 2 guests ?
Seattle region. Possibly someone who is too scared of posting here.
You need to check your reality switch.

Suspension Evasion
The penalty for evading one's suspension has been reduced from a ban to a one-week extension to the previous suspension for first-time offenders, and a ban for repeat evaders.
The reason for this change is that we would like to avoid having to ban users who aren't actually problematic. A suspension evasion undermines the system, but isn't damaging enough to the community that a full ban is necessary in most circumstances.
However, as it's still considered a serious rules violation, and repeat offenders are showing blatant disregard of our rules, and if they're not going to wait through any suspensions, our punitive measures become useless. As they've been warned for evasion already, we will ban upon the second suspension evasion.
Users that have been banned for suspension evasion in the past may appeal their ban in the ban/suspension appeal forum. Note that it will still be considered a
normal ban appeal process, which may still be either successful or unsuccessful.

Deep breaths, guys?
EDIT: Sometimes I just get the feeling that the staff get awfully tired of having me constantly second-guessing their decisions. So lately, I've been making a conscious effort to cut back on that and just let them regenerate and relax a bit without getting lectured/sermonized/berated so much by an old-timer, because that's got to be getting to be a really old and tiresome routine by now.
On the other hand, sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised. A couple of the last staff members who I'd never have expected to say anything like this PM'd me to say that they thought I should chime in on the Teia/RLA situation in a private setting, so maybe I'm letting my imagination carry me away.
Seems like a pretty good move.Suspension Evasion

"If you want people to report posts, then at least let them know that they're not being ignored, Galspanic. And if you want to work with the userbase, try not to be so condescending. If users see you go to the thread, and apparently ignore it, they might just respond" Harkius says in a condescending tone
