This card is actually pretty good
Standard hobos who play budget garbage should be looked upon with suspicion.

I don't know, wouldn't a 2/1 for 1 just be better ?
I am sure the black 2/1 that recurs from the grave, the black 2/1 with bestow and firedrinker satyr are better than this thing ..... i just don't like the fact that sometimes this will be just a hasty 1 power dude. And it also clashes a bit with foundry street denizen... denizen needs more creatures, this needs more spells ; and i'm sure i would always pick more creatures if i had to choose.
But i hope is possible to find the right balance and make both this and denizen awesome in the same deck

Son, I want you to know that no matter what happens between your mother and me, it's all your fault.

I mean, I do see this as a great threat alongside Goblin Guide in Modern Burn. They both accomplish much of the same things, which is getting the opponent down to 10 life at the end of turn 2, when on the play.
For Standard, I see this as a generally powerful card alongside [card]Titan's Strength[/card] and other pump spells/burn.
