trying its best to impersonate Fires of Yavimaya but doesn't quite get there. There have been a few 3 and 4 cmc "creatures you control have haste" cards in Standard recently that haven't been played, like Ogre Battledriver. The most playable was probably Hammer of Purphoros because of its late-game abilities. I don't think Ascendancy quite gets there with the card pool we know of right now, but I also think it completely depends on how many 4+ power creatures we get in the block.
