I really do hate that glow on the font, why do some things not have it while others do?

those who have submenus.

I've tried removing it, but failed insofar. not competent enough with css, maybe someone could help removing it down the line

I'll look at the CSS this weekend and figure out the glow SNAFU.

yeah, there's over 9000 css files in that skin, I've tried a removing a few things here and there but never could quite make it disappear

I installed Firebug and dug into the CSS of the front page. I think the item you want is this -

#main-menu a:hover, #main-menu a.active, #secondary-menu a:hover, #secondary-menu a.active, #tertiary-menu a:hover, #tertiary-menu a.active {
color: white;
opacity: 1;
text-shadow: 0 0 10px white, 0 0 10px white;
}

Remove the text-shadow bit and it should go back to looking un-awful. It lives in menu.css

I'd say we need to have at the very least 8 articles in the page front before it is credible enough to replace the forums at the main diestoremoval.com adress (and moving the forums to forums.diestoremoval.com) though your mileage may vary, if people feel it is good enough to go ahead as of now, I wouldn't mind.

Yeah I've just unchecked the "published" and "promoted to the frontpage" boxes in the corresponding tab, just put them back once you've updated the article.

Can you remove my current animation link from the front page? I moved the animations from wondermeow to my main mrmagicdownunder page so they will most likely stop working.

That said once I'll be reuploading the videos once per week as two separate series 1) Magic the Gathering Animations (MTGA) and 2) Magic the Gathering Pencil Animations (MTGPA) + my regular 3 times per week DE and SE videos. If anyone wants, they're welcome to embed the video series on the front page (yes, this is my I'm lazy so someone else do it for me comment)
