@magicdownunder: I agree with you 100% when you say "if your going too run leylines you'll need to run 4, but if your running 4 you up potential dead draws - which isn't something you want". And IMHO this is true for every other single copy of the SB cards (grafdigger's cage, kataki, etc).
I would like to test Mogg Fanatic too, because I liked it very much in the past (Extended - RDW) and even if we can't do the "block and sac with dmg on stack" anymore, is a strong card in my opinion, especially against other aggro decks.
Currently this is the list I'm playing (I have fetches but at the moment I prefer to play just Mountains):
[DECK]
20 Mountain
4 Goblin Guide
4 Spark Elemental
4 Hellspark Elemental
4 Lava Spike
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Shard Volley
4 Searing Blood
4 Skullcrack
4 Flames of the Blood Hand
4 Rift Bolt
[/DECK]
I'm thinking about those changes (but I'm not sure because the
original list is very fast and maybe I lose it):
-1 Shard Volley, +1 Magma Jet
-4 Spark Elemental, +4 Mogg Fanatic
-4 Hellspark Elemental, +4 Eidolon of the Great Revel
Every advice will be appreciated.
Thank you.

Played my ass off in a great game against UWR just now, ultimately failing to win in Game 3. This much I know:
- Magma Jet = Great. Games 2 and 3 were going great for me until I hit a patch of 4 or more land (this gave my opponent the opportunity he needed to pull ahead with Snaps and Helices). Magma Jet allowed me to send more land to the bottom and draw heat. I saw both Magma Jets for the last 2 games, one got countered and one resolved both games. Note: My first time Scrying on MTGO...almost disastrous, lol. I couldn't figure out how to proceed after I saw my 2 cards.
- I think I'm at the point where the mechanics of the online game system are becoming familiar. The last few matches I've played have almost been devoid of rookie mistakes like misclicking and mistakenly redirecting damage to planeswalkers I want to ignore. With that said, it's becoming increasingly apparent that my lack of fetches and [i:
1rulfzko]online[/i] (I can't stress that enough...) budget constraints are somewhat of a hindrance. What wins I'm getting, I'm playing my ass off to get. I've had an opponent tell me I was lucky, but simply put, I was legitimately outplaying him with what few resources I have at my disposal. My wins are my own and I fucking deserve them.
- Losing more online in these last few days have taught me to think differently. I don't lose all that often on paper (at least in my local area I don't). I'd like to think that it's "making me a better person and/or player" but I don't know if that's true. What I do know is that I'm starting to look at my cards differently trying to squeeze every last amount of value out of them, which is something I haven't experienced in a long while...

Kimbra, if you have fetches, I highly recommend you start using them and play with Searing Blaze. Also, 4 Shard Volley may be too many on 20 land. 3 is probably more sound. MDU made some sort of Kangaroo Chart for the correct amount of Shard Volleys per land ratio. It's around here somewhere...

I went 2-2 in a DE. I lost to UWR and Hate Bears. I made a few mistakes against the Bears, but it also seemed like this guy just had all the answers. Although to my credit, I had to battle through multiple Thalias both games. That's an uphill climb if there ever was one....

You're right Khaospawn, but remember that fetches and shocklands are bad when we play against Robots, the mirror and Scapeshift too.Kimbra, if you have fetches, I highly recommend you start using them and play with Searing Blaze. It's true that to run Searing Blaze we have to play fetches, but if we don't, we can replace the Blazes with Searing Blood that is a very good card (not so much creatures have toughness 3).
Maybe 4 Shard Volley are too many, in fact I'm testing 1 or 2 Magma Jet in place of them, even because is important to scry if you
don't run fetches.
However, yesterday I tested agains my friend playing the Infect list that made TOP4 in GP Boston and we finished 4-4 without SB (I was playing my original list).

[deck]
Creatures
4 Goblin Guide
4 Eidolon of the Great Revel
3 Grim Lavamancer
Spells
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Rift Bolt
4 Bump in the Night
4 Lava Spike
2 Shard Volley
2 Searing Blaze
4 Boros Charm
4 Skullcrack
Lands
4 Blackcleave Cliffs
4 Sacred Foundry
4 Arid Mesa
4 Scalding Tarn
1 Marsh Flats
1 Blood Crypt
3 Mountain
SIDEBOARD:
2 Searing Blaze
3 Wear // Tear
2 Rakdos Charm
2 Combust
2 Leyline of Sanctity
1 Kataki, War's Wage
1 Spellskite
1 Rain of Gore
1 Grafdigger's Cage[/deck]
The pilot of this list posted about it on Sally, mentioning he would shift to BRg.
"
You are almost correct regarding MB and SB. 4 searing blaze effects just does not enough against pod decks. It should be something like 3-4
blaze mb, 0-1 blaze and 1-3 searing blood SB. Grim Lavamancers were stars all day long. Don't cut them. It requires opponent to spend removal on it because if not - then this guy could very easily end the game. Wear tear was good but I think not enough. Leylines helped me won several games against mirror and rg valakut. If you run white - I think they are worth 2 sb slots because if you draw them against several decks - it is just a free win.
Gore and cage is not the cards I want to play in sb.
Probably I will be moving into BRg direction.
-4 boros charm
+1 or 2 searing blaze
+1 or 2 shard volley
Sb
-3 wear tear
+3 disruptive revelry
- gore and cage
+2 searing blood
Still 21 land. Because of GLs, shard volley and because it will allow you to mull aggressively and start with a no lander 5-cards hand on a draw Smile as I did against mono blue tron. Then I drew a land...
Btw: My loses were to junk, pod and affinity. First two - just because of my mistakes. Affinity gets nuts draw with
champion-plating and welding jar in both games. 22nd place"

It's an excellent article. A+ on the sideboard strategy.
POD is pretty difficult when they gain about 2-4 life that you weren't able to stop, such as Kitchen Finks. Once Birthing Pod hits the table, it becomes an uphill climb.

I believe Pillar is better used in a deck that will rely on a board presence to deal damage. The Searing cards allow you to deal damage without committing.

Junk can be pretty rough depending on their draw and how much hand disruption they throw at you. Although, I'm really loving Levy's suggested use of Guerilla Tactics to fight against Lilianna of the Veil.
You want my suggestion? Play Levy's Mono Red list with his new sideboard suggestions. He's done all the work and you can just read and reread his article to further cement the information in your head.

Though I did go -1 Shard Volley, +1 Magma Jet main to make up for the lack of fetches (and no, my Lava Man has not been hindered in the slightest), and -1 Smash to Smithereens, +1 Guerilla Tactics because I have been seeing a lot more Junk/White Rock online.

Yes it is.
I'm in a SE right now and I just beat R/G Tron. So far 2-0. Tron is an easy sideboard: -4 Searing Blaze, +4 Smash to Smithereens. Although in my case right now it's +3 Smash and +1 Tactics.

Go into the collection tab, select other products (you should see your boosters now), on the bottom of the screen you should see 3 option - select binder, open trade binder and drag all your things you want to sell into it.How do I sell these packs?
Then on the upper part of the screen select trade, type Goatbot into the search bar and just trade with any Goatbot you'll see - they'll buy all M15 for 3 tickets each
P.S. with v3 this was much easier...

Goatbot will, the rest require that you type in a command which they'll tell you about in chat its usually "done".They'll just automatically buy it?? It's THAT easy?
....I'm sure its possible, maybe you'll just need to find a really filthy trash heap greedy bot and sell everything. Also, is this how i can get rid of all the crap in my collection from opening those packs they give you when you sign up?

Went 1-1 in a SE, beating Storm and losing to Pod. Despite this, I think the deck is very strong. Honestly, it only feels like I can only lose when I draw lands more than 2 turns in a row, which is what happened in Games 2 & 3 vs Pod (4 in a row Game 2, and 5 in a row Game 3 )

I'm doing 2/2 on Shard Volley and Magma Jet. I'm only running 2 Mesas cuz that's all I have, bUT I'm pretty sure that makes a difference (so much harder to thin out the library). I'm gonna go up to a 3rd Jet and cut another Volley. The games where you see Jet are so much better than when you don't.

Are these LD really where this deck wants to be? We don't usually have board presence so that the T3 LD is an actual time walk making them deal with the previous turn's combat again. Also, 3 mana for 2-3 damage isn't terribly exciting. I could definitely be wrong, but it just seems odd. Also, if LD is where we want to be against slower decks (and Pod), should we just make 5-8 Stone Rain for generality? If they only were to come in against UWR, that split seems awesome, but if we wanna' attack manabases, aren't we also after Rock and Jund?

Land Destruction is clutch. Burn is so successful because its vector of attack is something most people aren't prepared for, especially in Game 1. In
Game 2, we supplement our attack with yet another vector - punishing their manabase even further.

For the record, I absolutely want to be playing things like Molten Rain and Peak Eruption. These cards can offset opponents' tempo, disrupt their spell sequencing, screw them on colors, AND deal direct damage. It's like Searing Blaze for lands!
