In a game-play PoV V4 (formally known as the beta) is decent, my complaints are:

1) the "window" pop-up spam is annoying
2) the trading and deck building is overly clunky
3) the removal of replays, global chatting and rating system was just dumb
@3 There still is global chat, however less people is there as you need to open additional window :P

We have a saving grace ;-)

How do you activate the global chat? Do they still have event chat?

I have been on the v4 client since the beta started. It really isn't the end of the world like many claim. I will not dispute that they have taken several steps back in some regards (deck building, pop up windows, that god awful tiny "exiled, can cast" window, and it not remembering how I had half the windows sized or positioned) but there are some improvements as well (multi monitor support, more fluid battlefield, better wish lists, automatically server-stored decks). Now that I write this, I am wondering if it is just Stockholm Syndrome talking after using it for this long.

When I have to restart MODO four times during ONE ROUND of cube because the client kicks me off, it really IS an issue.

I have never had those kinds of issues. I could be avoiding a lot of the performance-based issues due to the computer I am running. There have been so many people reporting said issues that they can't all be wrong.

Not really. I don't have any planeswalkers to protect with Boros. Golgari can also clear out annoying x/1 blockers, Random enchantments, and is green which is my base color and thus easier to cast.

Just entered into my first daily....there's a second window that popped up with a list of players and a timer counting down. This reminds of The Hunger Games, strangely enough. May the odds never be in their favor...

There should be a button that swaps you between your current match and the tournament result screen. Your game does stay visible/active until the next round. One of the oddities in the v4 client.

The "return to details" button is the one that sends you back to the tourney screen. You really make me glad that I have a monitor large enough to see what I am doing. I can't imagine playing like that. You can shrink the cards in your hand a bit if it helps you see the battlefield better.

Yeah I went back and forth a few times before I started exploring other things. Like, I really dig how you can see the players' match results, which ones are in progress, etc.

I don't even read the cards. I just know what they look like and what they're supposed to do. If I can't figure out how to make it work, I just click random things.

I do the same thing in real life.

And during sex.

If you don't read the cards, you can shrink your hand by clicking on the lower bar of the phase ladder and drag it down. I keep mine shrunk down so I only can see the title, art, and card type.

It is probably reasonable for those who are just picking it up. The trouble comes from those of us who were on the old client and can see where it took steps backward.
