I'm pretty sure I'm wired differently too. I'd never be caught dead nor alive at an anime convention. I appreciate anime casually, which is probably why I think Evangelion is shit. I don't think it's an art form so I'm not sitting through hours of viewing for that. At least Code Geas had regularly scheduled robot bashing.
Lelouch was also a pretty interesting character from an author's standpoint, too. A little whiney, but the overall premise was neat.

Because I'm a good friend, I proxied up some gauntlet decks so my buddy can get really good with RUG Scapeshift. Don't ask why he picked that deck. Anyways, I built Zoo, Pod, Twin, Jund (we already have various R/x decks, Affinity, and Storm). After playing with Twin for a bit, I realized one thing:
I'd be a fucking beast with a Tier 1 deck if it weren't for my impatience about pulling off the combo. I must've punted about 3 games that I had in the bag.
Anybody have any Twin tips to give me? Or better yet, a finely tuned list (I just saw 3 decks I liked and pretty much just mashed them together)?

In a pinch, Khaos' beard can help turn this around.

Hey, there's Mountains and Lightning Bolts in it.
I figured it wasn't any secret I'm a closet Izzet Mage. I only moonlight as a Storm player and Nin the Pain Artist lover (yes, I'm aware EDH isn't a real format).
Besides, this is all for the sake of running my friend's deck through the gauntlet with the added benefit of upping my game.

What do you guys thinks about those midrange green and white, either junk or bant decks in todays SCG and CFB articles? Ilove playing midrange, and those decks looks quite good. However I am intrigued by the Yisan, the Wanderer Bard suplementing Chord of Calling. I understand it is quite slow, but it looks so good on paper...

For me, it's not about mountains or the lack thereof. I'm not a slave to red like all these guys are. I like red a lot; it's the next best color to black as far as I'm concerned.Forget what I said. It doesnt have any mountains in it.If you want to beat any non-twin tier 1 decks easily (~80% win) play my green devotion.
Your deck, though, has forests. I won't touch them.

I'm currently on my phone while at work. Can you PM me the list or direct me to a thread where it's posted?
Thank you.

There's too many definitions for gay these days. Gay can literally mean homosexual, happy (or flamboyant), or even lame (which is how Purp is using it).

if you're looking for meaningful reflection of the human condition in anime then i feel you've been led astrayCode Geass is fine, but it lacks depth and the characters are very uninspiring. There's little depth and almost no rewatch value. It's fine for absent minded viewing, but offers no meaningful reflection on the human condition, and sub themes of that.

I don't say someone's black when they're on welfare. I don't call a man a woman for liking to cook. I don't call someone a Jew if he's being cheap. Nothing about being black or being a woman or being Jewish or being gay is something to make fun of or use as an insult.
If he means lame, he should say lame.

i am assuming he was combining the first and the third, which was and usually is the correct usage. he was calling someone a homosexual as an insult. There's too many definitions for gay these days. you should do all of these thingsI don't say someone's black when they're on welfare. I don't call a man a woman for liking to cook. I don't call someone a Jew if he's being cheap. I meant it as lame and slightly homosexual, sorry you were offended.I don't say someone's black when they're on welfare. I don't call a man a woman for liking to cook. I don't call someone a Jew if he's being cheap. Nothing about being black or being a woman or being Jewish or being gay is something to make fun of or use as an insult.

If someone is being cheap, I definitely call them a jew.
Anime is lame, and slightly homosexual.

It's not that I'm offended. It's that the culture surrounding words like "gay" and "homosexual" contributes to the fact that one in three gay teenagers will attempt suicide.
The amount of prejudice these kids are inundated with is enough to drive a third of them to commit suicide.
Equating "gay" with "bad" is killing kids.

I don't think I'll ever understand the belief that we should ignore contextual meaning in a language which is dependent on contextual meaning to communicate anything effectively.I don't say someone's black when they're on welfare. I don't call a man a woman for liking to cook. I don't call someone a Jew if he's being cheap. Nothing about being black or being a woman or being Jewish or being gay is something to make fun of or use as an insult.
If he means lame, he should say lame.
That said, this goes both ways and if someone starts using words in the wrong setting, they deserve their beatings. For example, if you use lame around a bunch of disabled people. Context!
But yeah, it's the way of things in language that gay now has
taken on the meaning of lame in the same way that it's effectively lost the meaning of happy. Good luck controlling people.

My inside source tells me to call the manly ones fairies and the flamboyant ones fat. Works every time.my main dilemma with the whole thing is that gay is my favorite insult and i really want to insult gay people but when i call them gay it doesn't work
Or just say you like Chik-Fil-A if you need a global trolling.
Context!
