I'm excited for it. I also like that little 1/2 dude that gets +2/+0 when he attacks. Along with that Generator dude and things like Mogis Warhound, Foundry Street Denizen, and even Flamespeaker, I'm having some high hopes for little Aggro. Why didn't I know frenzied goblin got reprinted? The fuck?
That card is great.
In a pinch, Khaos' beard can help turn this around.

Tyrael, I didn't forget about that guy. He fell under the category of "stuff 'n things".
Maverick, I can't speak for everyone, but I just want to play the beatdown, man. And I do one thing well: turn little red dudes sideways and fling burn like monkeys throw shit. Why fix what ain't broke?

Nothing is more satisfying to me than to destroy a control player's 300$ deck with a motley crue of crappy commonsDon't you guys get bored trying to force bad red aggro cards season after season? I'm not even really trolling, I just don't get the appeal.

The first time I got top 4 at FNM, I was playing mono green infect. It was fun as hell to destroy the geeks with foiled out Delver decks (Gut Shotting to kill Delver and let a creature swing freely or to buff your own guy with wild defiance felt great), but only to a certain extent, and it loses its appeal after a while.Nothing is more satisfying to me than to destroy a control player's 300$ deck with a motley crue of crappy commonsDon't you guys get bored trying to force bad red aggro cards season after season? Now, I'd rather play decks that show me that my wins and losses don't come from luck.

Well, I've played lots of control in past - then some weird, budget combos and I got turned to Red. As long as you can create Red deck with at least some decision making - there's no reason to not to play it if you like it.
Some Control decks were much, much dumber than some Red decks we all played.

I can honestly say there's an 80%+ chance that I won't be playing a red aggro deck come rotation. I'm too attached to the green cards from Theros block and M15. I've been playing a Courser deck ever since he was printed and I don't want to stop until he rotates.

Does everyone realize that it doesn't matter what reasons we give for playing Red? Our replies just read as "I'm a Scrumper" to Maverick and Madding.
Maverick: why do you guys play Red?
Khaos: Cuz I'm a Scrumper
Jack: Cuz I'm a Scrumper
Yarpus: Cuz I'm a Scrumper
Val: I play Courser decks only right now. But I'm also a Scrumper.

I assumed that it wasn't a secret that one of the perks of playing Red was affordability.
Shit, call me a budg-caj scrump-daddy all day long. I don't care. Budget is only a very small factor in my decision making process.

I'm playing Rb Devotion and Mono B Aggro right now because I think they're fun to play. I don't want to play U/W or Bant control because I don't enjoy those types of decks.
Budget will sometimes be a consideration, but I trade for most things on Deckbox.

I still dont have anything going for standard. Would preffer some kind of creature agro/midrange similar to WalterWhite / PyroWhite, as I dont really know if burn is good currently. I dont like those midrange green decks playing big monsters and got obliterated by mono black casting thoughtseizes and doomblades or mono blue that is just tapping those creatures/domesticating them/turning them to frogs...

Maybe thats why I love modern currently. So many options, good manabase, big cardpool, a lot of competetive decks...I still dont have anything going for standard. If I am not playing burn come M15, I will more than likely go Slivers. I miss my little swarm of pure evil and blue player tears.

Soon you'll be yearning for survival of the fittest and rage at the edh community for finding sylvan primordial too good but necro and Yawgmoths will perfectly acceptableI can honestly say there's an 80%+ chance that I won't be playing a red aggro deck come rotation. Purp, just stick it out until rotation. This next 3 months is all about shenanigans anyways. By the time you find something you like, it'll be gone, so you may as well play something you're already good at. Or not and just scrump out playing Boss Sligh til Khans.

I don't think that winning with aggro has very much to do with luck but to each his own I guess... Mirror matches and most midrange matchups feel very skill intensive to me and as such are also the most fun to win.The first time I got top 4 at FNM, I was playing mono green infect. It was fun as hell to destroy the geeks with foiled out Delver decks (Gut Shotting to killNothing is more satisfying to me than to destroy a control player's 300$ deck with a motley crue of crappy commonsDon't you guys get bored trying to force bad red aggro cards season after season? It's not even about budget. I WANT to play the red deck. A true scrumper.
Now legacy? If ever I plAy burn there, pure budjcaj reasons. Id normally not play, but burn looks to be about tier one now, so I wouldnt feel that bad.

You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.
Beatdown is hard, though.
