I played this list for Block recently, but my choices and problems translate to standard. I'm obviously missing Rakdos Cackler and Madcap Skills because of the format.

Green matchups are really tough because of the Courser/Caryatid combo. Playing against black decks and Kiora has taught me to spread out the Buffs across 2/3 guys rather than all-in on 1. Once I get to 4-power/Firebreathing on a guy, I move to the next dude.

I recommend the one-of [card]
Hall of Triumph[/card], and would play fewer lands. You don't wanna go to 16 or anything drastic, but even with Firebreathing/Bestow 20 is too much.

I personally play 17 and that seems to be the sweet spot (or 17 + 1 vault)

Everflame Eidolon is really underwhelming imo

I'd rather run Arena Athlete along with Madcap Skills to make the green matchup bearable

What I'd change: SB needs Seismic Stomp to deal with green. Crusader has been underperforming and I'm thinking of cutting him in favor of Nyxborn Rollicker. I'm still unsure if the deck really wants/needs BTE since the heroic version greatly reduces the 'swarm' potential of the deck.

Agreed, 17/18 seems right.

Really wanted this card to be good, this isn't the deck for it. Maybe play just a few?

Have you tried Blinding Flare? Hits fliers, doesn't hit Caryatids. Crusader is the weakest 1-drop I guess, nuts with Hall of Triumph if that becomes a thing. I can go without BTE in this deck.

Firedrinker Satyr is in the board cuz I was expecting a lot of aggressive decks (I faced Naya aggro, Mono Green Aggro, Naya Midrange and Jund Monsters) so I never really ended up needing them anyway but they are there for the control matchup, obviously

Blinding Flare seems good for sure

I just wanted heroic to work :)

Yes, there are only 12 cards in the SB, i wanted EotGR but it's a tad expensive at the moment, so I'm waiting for it to hopefully drop. In the mean time I have been considering other cards but haven't landed on any. Maybe Goblin Shortcutter. I'm very surprised that i like Satyr Hoplite way better that Akroan Crusader, but getting the counter and becoming big enough to beat the blockers really helps him. Also the 2x Chandra's Phoenix seem really good, flying is really good for getting in the last few points of dmg, and
Titan's Strength on an unblocked bird just feels so good (almost like playing lightning bolt in standard) :)
I would not go without BTE, 1-drop into BTE+Madcap Skills on the play is very close to just being GG.

What do you guys think about Coordinated Assault? Maybe some Legion Loyalists?
