They picked the wrong Onslaught block enchantment to turn into a creature but I'm still so interested in this. Also has modern application as a storm hoser.

Oddly enough, this seems more interesting than the enchantment. Yes, it dies to removals, but not without taking 2 life.

The card itself is personification of red itself. They don't mind playing with fires to hurt others.

Seems to be an excellent hoser to MUD, since it doesn't have a good way to remove it.

You would play pillar over this because it's a hard counter to getting stormed out. Having the option to take 2 damage to not automatically lose is acceptable for a storm deck. This is still awesome, tho.

<3 this card and i play modern storm. good thing storm plays 4 bolt and a coupel wear/tear now cuz this thign is beast.
