Ok, was always indifferent to Finkels articles, but this is fucking hilarious. There's a dennis rodman reference and questioning the existence of a god he doesn't believe in when people cut electromancer.
Faithless Looting is for the faint of heart, Storm is not.

I was actually happy he agreed with me because I hated the idea of playing looting and more lands. You're just diluting your deck. His version is just so...sleek. Every card does the same thing.

Figure out what his problem is. Likely a symptom of a bigger issue.
@Khaos: I'm in the middle of my reading for the day. I just finished Sam Pardee's article and now I have Mcclains and Shrouts on my platter.

I'd give it some time. Why'd you swear at your bro's wife anyway?I swore at my brother's wife on a Facebook post.
Now he's threatening to write me out of his life.
I'm not at all sure how to take this.

I said "Who the fuck is so insecure about their own opinions they have to delete dissenting ones? Can't we have some tolerance for diverse opinions in here?"
(She had posted an article that claimed homeschooling didn't teach tolerance for diverse opinions and she said that wasn't true. The comment of mine that she deleted was respectful. It said something along the lines of: "Well, it's pretty simple to see that 15 teachers will present more diverse opinions than 2 parents, and 1200 other students will present more diverse opinions than 4 siblings.")

Then she is being over-sensitive /ridicolous. Should blow over. I often tell people off on facebook as part of an effort to removeuseless people from my life, but you haveI said "Who the fuck is so insecure about their own opinions they have to delete dissenting ones? Can't we have some tolerance for diverse opinions in here?"

You know your family and whatever issues there are better then any of us will, but I reiterate, there's probably some other underlying problem. So, I'm not crazy? I mean, sure I overreacted and probably shouldn't have swore.
Is that enough to say "you're dead to me"?

You overreacted, but you basically also called her stupid for holding an opinion that is obviously wrong to any logicalpersin. The reaction is based on emotion, not reason. Give them time to see that / tell other people what an asshole you are (and get the same reaction I gave) and it should blow over. So, I'm not crazy? Yeah, it is a little much to ask, at least if you want modern regularly. Stores know they can fill up standard and drafts with little issue, where as sealed (outside of prereleases), block, modern, legacy, and vintage not so much. They can even hold commander events with little worry about people not showing up. If there is an upcoming major event in the format they can usually get the format going for a little while, but not past the event, unless a significant portion of the shop's patrons are interested in it. At one LGS I go to they can't get people to show up to modern or legacy, but they can actually do really well with pauper events, and that's not even a supported format, and the otherIs it too much to want a LGS that plays Modern?
shops don't even try unless there is a big event in the near future (like sealed before BnG PTQs, or legacy before an SCG Open).
thanks to nbw for the sig.
You do need to try to gay it up a little more.
You're like the least gay member of this clan.
And that's counting the fact that you voluntarily have sex with men.

This all sounds wildly over-reactive on his part. I mean, some people really just can't handle having the bubbles around their tiny little paradigms popped by dissenting ideas, and Facebook tends to be a breeding ground for those types of people... Is that normal for your brother or his wife? Because I'm kinda leaning towards agreeing with LP in that it sounds like they're the ones with some kind of problem.
