Will Pithing Needle prevent Bloodrush abilities from being activated?
Example: Opponent casts Pithing Needle naming Rubblebelt Maaka. Can I no longer use Maaka's bloodrush ability?

Correct, pithing needle does not specify what kind of source (e.g. a permanent) the activated ability should come from, so it can prevent the usage of activated abilities (aka bloodrush, as noted above) from cards in your hand, graveyard, the battlefield, the command zone, etc.Bloodrush has the colon, that means its an activated ability. I'd say yes, pithing needle blocks it.

It does not, however, work against bestow. You can play a pithing needle naming boon satyr and it will do absolutely nothing, unless a third card gives it an activated ability (example dragon mantle).
thanks to nbw for the sig.
You do need to try to gay it up a little more.
You're like the least gay member of this clan.
And that's counting the fact that you voluntarily have sex with men.
