Can't really call a guy like me a sheriff - that implies I have some sway or power or anything. I know who Teia and Yomako are, but who's "the tree?" Haven't heard that one before.

Honestly, it's super easy on MTGS too. It's not a matter of work or anything - I just couldn't get the job I wanted to get done done and I thought it was time someone else with different objectives or different ways to problem solve gave it a shot.

Aside from the occasion star struck MTG player at the local game shopping giving me a tuggie in the 40K case, I wasn't paid.
ER made me and Sene quit - Quite the contrary. He didn't want us to leave but also understands that when your payment for 20 hours a week of work is 3 handjobs in 2 years, it's time to be an adult.
You quit because you didn't like being a puppet - No, I quit because when I suck at my job it isn't fun. When my recreation isn't fun, I find something else to fill my time with - like getting a tattoo apprenticeship and remembering that I once had a respectable art career that I really loved. MTGS didn't neuter that, but if I want to figure out what to do with my life it seems like playing MTG is bad enough - playing Website guy is going to kill any chance of moving forward.
This means you are done with MTGS - No. I still play the game as much as I ever have. I like the people there even though a good chunk of the local guys I hang out with have stopped posting there. I
looked at moving all my deck lists over the a regional site called northwestmagic.com. I signed up there a couple weeks ago, and when I logged on a few days ago the site was gone after 5+ years of operating... I bring death and destruction wherever I go!
Toenails - I am stubborn and a creature of habit. It's gross I know. I've had them for 20 years now and I'm sorta committed to just keeping it for life now.
Mod Lounge posts - Those are over a year old. It hardly seems like something worth caring about when the most damaging stuff is from people who haven't been on staff in so long. Internet years are like cat years to me... a human year feels like 7 so anything more than 2 months to me feels dead and gone. but that doesn't matter really.
