I'm awfully fond of condiments, unfortunately for my wallet and my body. I don't exactly over-do it, but I could always go without them.
I am a big fan of cheese on a variety of foods, particularly fries, and I love chili sauce or piquant sauces or other condiments (e.g., paprika, curry spices, cumin) on things such as chicken and fish.
Lately, I've become quite fond of pepper steak sauce, rather than gravy, for example, over schnitzels and such.
I hate cinnamon, except on donuts and a few other baked goods and only in very moderate quantities.
I'm currently having difficulties working out how to use a bottle of ranch dressing that I bought, though.
So, what are your favorites, and on what foods?

I was reading generally, but came across the uninspired sentiment that people (humble and honest as they are) grossly overestimate their literacy and that a shocking amount of people have poor literacy skills. The implications of this are documented and imaginable, even if you did no reading on this.
From reading posts across a variety of subfora here, I find that there is a dearth of users who post with excellent literacy skills.
In light of this, what are your thoughts on literacy, and how would you rate your own literacy?
I used to think that reading would improve my literacy, and I would read anything, voraciously. Now, I don't have that much time (or don't make that much time / manage my time) or have that much ... determination.
And what would you say of your specific literacy abilities? (For instance, scientific literacy, for which this webpage, covering various aspects of scientific literacy, may be
informative.) For something fun to do (flawed and biased as it may be), the Christian Monitor has a quiz that I've spent part of my lunch break doing: here. It is a little long, at 50 Qs.
(I'm a wonk and/or haven't moved past grade school science. Tongue I scored 100%, even getting correct those obscure-knowledge questions [e.g., astronomy, a ghetto joke science] and those not of global scope. )

Why, sure, tons of people here think they are geniuses (cf. "How intelligent are you?". However, simply being a genius doesn't mean that you actually behave in a genius-like manner, and being a genius or even less hyperbolic things cut the cheese.
Rather than puffery, what about things that have a factual basis, but hopefully not in ancient history?
I am a fan of websites for the promotion of self-improvement and such, such as Elite Daily, the Art of Manliness (even if doesn't exactly apply), etc. From the "20 Things You Need to Accomplish in Your 20s"-type articles, I don't think I measure up all that well, particularly as I am imbalanced or haven't grown up (at all or in a traditional sense, particularly with a focus on the family-that-I-didn't-choose).
Fortunately, I have succeeded, in the eyes of some but not exactly myself, in having accomplished and achieved much in the way of my
education and work. It's good, but it's not enough or good enough.
This week has been an unproductive week, as I have done little more than loaf around in bed. I have been feeling ill lately.
Anyway, enough about me. What about you?

For starters, I lack patience and the desire to deal (and "deal") so extensively with subsets of people. I am also not a fan of "bureaucratic tyranny" and things, not that I'm implying that MTGS is a bureaucratic tyranny or anything. In fact, I believe in benevolent dictatorship/totalitarianism à la mode de Singapore (Singapour).
You post on dtr? Cool? Honestly, I don't know who posts there and who doesn't.
I actually read that site quite a bit but its mostly because a lot of the people I used to interact with on MTGS are over there.

I do not "do" Magic of any variety — play, collecting, reading, storylines, art, card and/or set design — any more.

I am a hanger-on at MTGS for the MTGS Wiki, not cards and not all that much for community now.

I probably was not, am not, and will not be wanted as a staff member, for a gamut of reasons; perhaps the amount of "do not want" is comparable to how much I don't want to be one, also for a gamut of reasons.

I realize it's pretty stupid of me to even ask this, but what the hell is she even trying to say here?I probably was not, am not, and will not be wanted as a staff member, for a gamut of reasons; perhaps the amount of "do not want" is comparable to how much I don't want to be one, also for a gamut of reasons.

That explains why people keep coming over for chicken nuggets

Thanks for your handling this.
I share similar concerns. I understand the site's business model requires some of these scripts, and it so happens that, for the coffers to remain full and business to remain solvent, information must be sold. However, not only are there issues to do with (1) privacy and (2) security, but these tracking things are also markedly compromise the performance of the website. A statement and explanation from the site staff as well as the technical, Curse people would be rightly appreciated, and an address of these matters would be thoughtful for users, the site and those truly running this thing.
Moving forward, I would like to see Tooooon's queries answered for the common good.

Apologies this isn't the most appropriate place for this.
In bullet form,
1. Thanks for purchasing MTGS and integrating it into the Curse gaming network.
2. There are some issues with MTGS now. One most key one is accessing MTGS, the forums or threads in the forums is associated with a concomitant spike in CPU usage. Occasionally, my browser (all of the major ones) freeze and, sometimes, a prompt pops up informing me of a non-responsive script. Many of these are for analytics, including, but not limited to, Google's ones and "Script: http://static-dominaria.cursecdn.com/1- ... core.js:28".
3. Quoting doesn't exactly work as it used to. I understand that things might change, but surely quoting is supposed to actually quote the text...
Can't remember what my other things were, but they
don't seem so important.
Cheers. Keep up the good work.

One of few the actors today whose performances I truly looked forward to and could make me enjoy a film just by being a part of it.
Hoffman is a guy who had much promise in his early days and talent in his latter days, but it seems that he is very polarising; there are two main camps, those that fanboy him who claim that he is the best thing since sliced bread and there are those that dismiss his acting chops, claiming that he is over-rated. Shrugs
RIP, a tragic way to go, he will be missed.
Those of us who are still alive, this might sound a little
strange: don't dwell on mourning his passing; celebrate his life.

So, what I really would like to know and maybe it has been made available here, but who was sampled? How many were sampled? How many of you could describe how this 'study' was conducted? (How about them apples now?)
Rather than discuss the implications or make speculations, I would really, really like to know the above and why this even matters. It's great general knowledge that the third planet orbiting the star of the Milky Way, the Sun, is Earth, but it really doesn't do anything for me or anyone; anyone who would be seriously interested in this would surely have a more intricate and indeed beautiful understanding of astronomy.
Even if it were useful to know this, the inferences that some people are drawing aren't simply spurious but are ridiculous, not unlike those who draw and suggest them.
