wow I had a post but the forum broke....
uhhh. I got to rank 16 but its gotten harder from here.
Priest control gave me trouble, got 1 guy to 1life (night blade was an out as well as mortal strike), other guy had back to back Sunwalkers (I have no silence)
Hunter rush is broken as shit etc, Misdirection while racing is retarded especially against warrior weapons. buzzard into unleash the hounds
draw two timber wolves was fucking dumb too, and even then I was only 1 short of lethal the following turn (because of the misdirection which made my worgen suicide into my weapon).
hard to tune decks to metagame because its so varied.
Maybe yeti is what the deck wants because you just want to brawl with guys sometimes and have the best last threat... so its like an aggro-control deck (because weapons are awesome and versatile)...
hmm

I'd give it a try. Try defender of argus as well so you can play some critical taunt against the hunter deck, save weapon swings for killing creatures
It's too bad we don't have a secret subforum where we can coordinate troll attempts where only we can see so that we don't have to catch on because only one of us is an actual rocket scientist.

I'm playing a control warlock and its beating hunter rush by just supplying taunt and enough silence to deal with threats

You could probably rock a single molten giant who would cost 0 quite quickly against aggro

There is a popular control warrior, based around armoring up a lot:

3 straight losses in the arena last night. It was a fucking massacre. I thought I had done a good job choosing cheap creatures with good abilities. My curve looked good. I was wrong. Every game I would run out of steam. I had one opponent down to 2 life and he came back to win. I think one of my big problems was not enough card draw.
SM, you complete me.

Started grinding casual matches with my super terrible budget Warrior deck for gold, won enough to buy a few packs and completed a few quests. I routinely go up against guys with decks full of Epic and Legendary cards, which seems odd. Am I just getting matched against these guys because I haven't played enough games and my ELO isn't accurate?

I've been doing the quests in the morning to earn gold, then spending it in Arena.
I'm not good at the deck building aspect yet because my traditional idea of a mana curve is too low (games frequently last until and past turn 10), and I frequently get tricked because I don't know what all the cards in the set are.

Always pick something that will 2 for 1, and only pick the best spells of a classI've been doing the quests in the morning to earn gold, then spending it in Arena.

That's generally the path I take (draft a Jund deck), but I tend to lose to decks with a lot of hero synergy.Always pick something that will 2 for 1, and only pick the best spells of a classI've been doing the quests in the morning to earn gold, then spending it in Arena.

I think that looking up a typical winning curve will
help a lot.

Did one hearthstone draft with a buddy and we won 8 games using a warrior playing what I would only call an agro deck. Being good at magic makes you good at hearthsonte...
Just downloaded the game today and it's been fun so far.
Battle tag Lauphiette. My name is so awesome for always being available.

You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.
Beatdown is hard, though.

LP, your BattleTag should have the # sign followed by 4 numbers. For example, mine is SlfMedicated#1279.Did one hearthstone draft with a buddy and we won 8 games using a warrior playing what I would only call an agro deck. Being good at magic makes you good at hearthsonte...

Er, 1-2* obviouslyI've been destroying stuff with Priest decks. Putting down a creature with taunt -> buffing health -> healing it every turn with 1-3 "whenever a minion is healed, draw a card" creatures on the board is goodstuff, apparently.
Kazekirimaru#1282Kaze, shoot me your BattleTag when you get a chance.
