This author from Ireland came up to our door a while back. Apparently authors selling their books door-to-door is common over the pond? Anyway, I talked to him for quite a while and my wife ended up inviting him for dinner (he declined), so that might be a good angle to look at. Even dyed-in-the-wool socialist reformers admit that stuff like video games, movies, and TCGs would most likely not only be viable but flourish as a necessity in a communist society, as a means of distributing pablum to the masses. Nor is this without precedent, ancient Greece/Rome had some pretty severe communistic tendencies and they fed Christians to lions as a form of mass entertainment.
