i just lost in an 8-4 to a deck that ran a soft lock of stuffy doll, rhox, and slumbering dragon. tbh i won g1, mana screwed g2, and was pretty close to winning g3 but timed out because i was eating pizza. it was a low point of the day

i was just beaten 2-1 by literally the worst player i've ever seen on mtgo who was running literally the worst sealed deck i've ever seen in m13. it had 56 cards and ran things like the land that gives you no max hand size and the +1+3 gain 3 life aura. i easily won g1, got cute with a 1 land 6 card mull on the draw with 2 1 drops and 2 drops, proceeded to not draw a land in 7 turns and died to his 2/2's. g3 i kept a decent starter with 4 lands and 3 spells: proceeded to draw 8 lands in the next 9 turns. my one spell was a 7/7 that died to his intrepid hero. fuck my life. i might go kill myself

idk how much rtr draft you've done but desecration demon is actually a house in the format. i'll admit it is not even close to pack rat but i still hate sending the signal that black is open. i ended up with a very solid deck, i just punted round 2 like i said

i understand desecration demon is a very good card, but desecration demon both demands you play black and dies to more removal than a bomb of its class should.

pack rat neither demands you play black because it only ever requires 1-2 mana to operate and is only
effectively killed by tapping out or other rares or several staticasters.

like it's unfortunate you had to pass a good card in order to draft a card that is several levels better than the card you passed and has no effect on signals because the card you picked up is easily splashed in addition to being several grades better than the card you passed.

Wish I could say it was a dance move, but after smashing face game 1 I let my foot off the gas a bit. My deck was stacked with BR removal and bombs. Then I lost to knightly valor on Hexproof rhino with Ultimate Price, Augur Spree and Impact in my hand. Drew the edict creature to deal with the rhino and proceeded to punt the turn
