Work is so boring today. I'm having a great time reading this QT tho. I like how despite me possibly playing the worst of anyone in this game, I somehow ended up one of the last 2 players alive.

As I usually say, you guys overthink these things too much. Usually I don't even bother reading my role in detail on day one, and I just ctrl+f the word town or mafia.

That's what happened this day 1. I only knew I was town. I only look my roles
in detail at night or when I'm asked for a claim.

PS: I told dan I wouldn't be using any ability because I wanted to have better reads. Otherwise my gut feeling was telling me to NK Kaze but I was not 100% he was scum.

The problem with day 1 is that everyone is grasping at straws and super duper paranoid because there aren't any true facts to analyze. It seems real hard to catch scum day 1.

Scumbag: He was my second scum read after Kaze, After day 1 concluded, I kind of felt that Kaze was still scum, but I had more of a feeling Scumbag was. At this point in the game, I was trying to eliminate at least one member of the mafia, so I pulled the trigger on Scumbag and wasted my one time use ability reasoning that someone else was likely to target him as well.

Kaze - As I've said numerous times, your playstyle comes off scummy to me. This being our first game together, I really felt that you were scum but everyone was leaving you alone, so I decided to take it into my own hands and off you. I figured if I could succeed in killing a townie and a scum in the first two nights I upped my chances significantly.
