My VW station wagon makes pretty much no one wet until I tell them it gets 60 mpg. Then the environmentalists are all like *swoon*.

We seem to be racking dragon points like if it is our business this week.

Fuck it, I think I'm gonna enter the contest this time.

That's impressive. My little 206 made 64 kpg on the longest trip I've made with it, and used to do 53 kpg in the city back when new. IDK how much it's making these days, but it shouldn't have changed much, I don't really feel like I'm spending any more on petrol.

Assuming you're using the same gallon there, I guess I'm still beating you by 50%. But that's still not bad.

You know I had to special order a manual when I bought this car a few years back? Apparently 99% of people in my city drive automatic, so the car dealerships don't even bother to carry manual transmission cars. Ridiculous.

"Intentionally". ;)

My car's actually got this cool feature where it automatically holds the brake for about 2 seconds if you're on a hill and in gear. Not that I need it, but I thought it was spiffy when I first noticed that I wasn't rolling back.

Kilometers per gallon? What an awkward unit.
Yeah, well, my country is pretty all over the place when it comes to units:

Height: meters
Weight: pounds
Distance: kilometers
Gasoline Volume: american gallons
Milk: liters
Soda: bottles/liters
Pipe diameters: inches

Some people even sell lots (terrain) using square varas, which are a unit of measure from the old Spanish days, close to a yard. And btw, clothes and other "rolled" things are sold by the yard.

I blame the Empire. :chewy:

We're actually almost the same. Fabric in meters, gasoline in liters, distance in kilometers, but fuel economy in miles per gallon. Go figure.

My fellow Americans, I wish to address the concerns many of us have over the growing number of Japanese military bases forming in the United States. The new Japanese emperor, Hirohito, has made our own children into fighter pilots who will soon fly to Hawaii and attack Pearl Harbor. I spoke with Mr. Hirohito this morning, and he assured me that I have a very large penis. He said it was mammoth, dinosauric, and absolutely dwarfed his penis, which, he assured me, was nearly microscopic in size. My penis, he said, was most likely one of the biggest on the planet. I applaud Mr. Hirohito in his honesty. Thank you.
