and actually it turns out I misread my role, I thought I just switched two people.

Apparently I just redirected anything that hit Rezombad onto myself.... oops.

So that means ISO DID mean to vanillize me because of my soft claim yesterday, which makes sense.

No, this doesn't make sense. If your story were true then iso would have to be targeting rezombad and you redirected it to yourself. You got it right in your previous post but then messed it up here and used it to attack iso

I'm a two-shot redirector.

I didn't action N1, claiming I knew nuwen was town was just a bluff because she's obviously town.

N2 I redirected myself and Rezombad because I figured I'd be shot and I thought he was scum.

Bet you were dying to know how the fuck you visited me ISO when you tried to vanillize Rezombad eh (or maybe this mod is just terrible at night action resolution, certainly seems like a clusterfuck setup)

And could you please tell me why it was sooooo important for everyone to mass claim so you could "break open" the game, if you are really a redirector? You're still shooting in the dark on who would be targeted and I really don't think your ability is that strong.

At this point I'm fine with either a fate
or nuwen lynch but I think it should be nuwen since him dead, plus a spambolic reporter usage tomorrow gives us more info than just fate being dead. Someone correct me if I'm missing something

You really don't have to think about this too hard. Read imopens' posts; his reactions are pretty vapid. It's clear that he had no idea how to proceed to act in response to negative results on his friends, and now he's committed to voting with his scum team. The last page might as well be a scum QT where each realizes he's fucked in turn. Slow motion train wreck.

I do see what you're seeing, Nuwen, but I also do have to think about this hard. Reason is, I targeted you last night and failed. Sounds like Fate had a run-in with a roleblocker (need to take some time to wrap my head around that mess still), leaving you as potentially untargetable.

I am Macktastic, Town Friendly Neighbor. Once a game I can target another player. My alignment will be confirmed with that player and we'll share a QT for the remainder of the next day and night.

Anyone want to speculate on other reasons my ability might have failed? I did not get the same message that... whoever it was that targeted HowlingMad got. Their ability apparently went through but failed to do anything - mine just didn't go through at all and didn't use up my shot.

Anyway, I need to wrap my head around all this and don't have the time right this minute. Maybe later I'll make an excel sheet with
all the night actions last night. This is too messy.

no my role pm specifically says A->B is redirected. So I submitted (redirect rezombad and myself)

which I THOUGHT would mean bus drive us, but it turns out it just redirects actions from rezom onto me,

My massclaim did reveal a shitton, and my motivation behind it was that I WAS VANILLIZED and I knew I could catch scum claiming to have targeted Rezombad (before I realized I had my PR backwards)

No, this doesn't make sense. If your story were true then iso would have to be targeting rezombad and you redirected it to yourself. You got it right in your previous post but then messed it up here and used it to attack iso

Look, there is a clear conflict between what you and fate have been saying and what iso and spambolic have been saying. Spambolic can prove his ability and so can iso if it comes to that. What can you two prove?

I have to pick a side of this and hope I am right. If I went for an iso or spambolic lynch
with you and fate, would that be solid evidence that I was on a scum-team with you? No, it wouldn't. So don't try and use the same faulty logic on me being scum with iso and spam.

Nuwen! Give us more than that! This is actually important. Thoughts on Yanni's wagon, the people on it, and how they joined, please. If you have anything else from that reread you apparently started, that would be good too.

Is the bolded why I was roleblocked? If so, what could the mafia have suspected my role was? Seems to say vig (which would be in line with the Col K vig shot the night before, since I suspected him). This potentially points to Nuwen as scum as well (since this post gives her a reason to roleblock me).

Anyway, whatever. I'll reread the game today or tomorrow in light of Kaze's flip. I'm going to stop speculating until then.

Not necessarily true. Many games have twlight for a period of time both to allow the mod to write the flavour and for the players to correct any mistakes in the votecount. There is no set time-period for twilight in this game (24 hrs, or whatever). The fact that Iso claimed governor Day 1 may have even caused Dan to extend the twilights slightly just to allow the fake-claim to have some legs. I've done similar before as a mod when I thought it would make the game more balanced or fun.

No. I can only use it once a game, so when I came into this role during Night 1, I wasn't sure who I should target and how I could use this ability aside from proving myself town to someone who I thought was town. I considered targeting Iso, but figured there must be a better use of the ability since I had nothing to say to him and nothing to learn from him. Mulling it over Day 2, I decided to target Nuwen. With my alignment confirmed to her, she would have no reason to lie so I figured I could pretty easily determine exactly what was up between her and Fate and hopefully determine her alignment based on her reactions to my questions in the QT. It would also lock her into a claim if she were scum (since, as town, she would have no reason not to share everything). If she claimed Mason, I had a couple choice quotes set aside to grill her with, quotes
that showed her inclination to share info with Fate in-thread rather than in their Mason chat.

I suppose there's no reason not to share what I'd planned to ask her. I had it pre-written so I could quickly post it from my phone over the weekend as soon as Day started. The **'d bit at the end would obviously be in my second post following her response.

Because I didn't target Stardust. Fate is following Nuwen and swinging for the fences but missing badly. When I prove my role and their gambit flops - technically gambits since Fate softclaimed a cop result on Nuwen as well but
that was also a lie - then this game will be all but over.

My message tomorrow at the beginning of the day is going to read "I'm Backup in Woodcrest. Don't touch my booty!"

And Nuwen is the lynch imo because

1. It tells me whether you (spam) are scum or town
And
2. It also tells me whether LMD is scum or town.

A scum Nuwen means we go after LMD
A town Nuwen means we go after spam

The only way this wouldn't work is the minute chance that nuwen decided to falsely accuse spam but correctly mark LMD as town in case he got lynched but since that doesn't seem likely I think it would be safe to lynch LMD if nuwen flips scum.

I see what you are proposing (basically my plan in reverse) but if you are thinking nuwen could be an insane cop then LMD's flip doesn't tell us much because he COULD be an insane cop..or he could be a regular cop...how does LMD's flip confirm this one way or the other? Is
insane cop always a scum role? I don't see any indication of that on mafiascum.

Also, your plan relies on a third party to clean up the mess. How do we know there isn't a serial killer who has no allegiance to us and will just kill whoever they think gives them the best chance to win?
