Both Boros and Rakdos Midrange look real strong, too. I think I'll be building towards one or the other once I get an idea on how the meta will stabilize.
redthirst is redthirst, fifth Horseman of the Apocalypse. He was the leader of the Fires of Salvation, the only clan I'm aware of to get modded off the forums so hard they made their own forums.
Degenerate? Sure. Loudmouth? You bet. Law abiding? No ****ing way.
Great guy to have around? Hell yes.
I love the D...

If I were more willing to go in with a less tested deck, id run the Boros AIR I've been championing. In a sea of control and green midrange it's perfectly positioned. If everyone is on RDW? Less so.

I'm probably going to run RDW as well. I'd really like to run Big Red but we'll have to see how well that is positioned. If everyone is going to be on Sligh it would be an amazing choice.

I'll relocate this to the appropriate thread eventually. We're calling it batman jund because it's like a utility belt and we named all the characters in the deck *posts facebook conversation*
Lauphiette Kincey Batman Jund.
Lauphiette Kincey That name might actually work if we can agree on who's batman(probably Des Demon).
Daniel Lamparter Yeah, life bane is Alfred, ruric is bane, Vraska is poison ivy,
Lauphiette Kincey I guess color schemes make Polis crusher robin.
Daniel Lamparter Haha I was actually thinking the same.
Daniel Lamparter Rakdos's Return is already a ra's al ghul rip off
Lauphiette Kincey Reaper of the wilds can be two face. Fair 4/5 for 4 then, BAM hexproof.
Daniel Lamparter Is Ooze riddler? Domri is Zsazz for sure
Lauphiette Kincey Ooze could be the riddler. Riddle me this, what cost 2 but can become bigger than a tarmogyf in standard? Yeah, I'm feeling it.
Daniel Lamparter Oh shit! ROTFLOL!
!!
All that out of the way, I really like the deck. I think I want 1 Chandra in the main and I should actually test Nyela's disciple to see if she's poop or awesome vs. red, but overall, I really like this list and the sideboard.

If I were wanting to run something bigger, if run the version with Reckoner, Phoenix, Chandra and Stormbreath. Mono Red with Mutavaults. KISS is good for the start of the season IMO.
But mostly ill just turn guys sideways then tell people how smart I am.

I'm running Big Red to begin with, but since I opened 3 temples of triumph this weekend, I may take it as a sign to move toward Big Boros... My meta is aggro heavy even under normal circumstances, so I think it'll be a better choice than the endless mirrors and terrible GW matchups if I played RDW.
Something along these lines:
[deck] Big Red[/deck]

Yeah I don't bother going there since you guys use the Boros thread and the Kuroda Boros thread interchangeably.
Edit. Solid decklist new guy. JadePhoenix ~ Mech Warrior?

Agreed that list is solid, pretty close to where I am at.
[DECK]
4 Ash Zealot
4 Boros Reckoner
4 Chandra's Phoenix
4 Stormbreath Dragon
4 Chandra, Pyromaster
2 Hammer of Purphoros
4 Lightning Strike
4 Magma Jet
3 Mizzium Mortars
2 Shock
22 Mountain
3 Mutavault
[/DECK]
In this deck, I def think I want to see Chandra every game so I am gonna try 4.
Kinda undecided about Ember Swallower at the moment.

Control matchup, and the reach. Cerberus is mighty good at killing people, but that's about it.
And yeah, I'm not expecting disciples to be good, but figured I'd test it. I'm looking at all my lifegain options, including time to feed It's very possible even the black 3/3 for 2 guy with defender is playable. He's a 2 drop that doesn't really trade with any of the aggressive cards...but he had defender.
Something in the board is definitely getting cut for an ultimate price though. I know that for sure.
Basically I like all of my matches accept mono-red agro. Since it's the only fast deck with reach and if the game goes long, I feel my deck has all the answers.

Scrubs are out in force on MTGS today. IronPlushy actually called me terrible for wanting better mana in a two-colour aggro deck, because he only runs 4 Glacial Fortress in his UW Control deck.
Yep, I'm the terrible player. He finished 3rd at his FNM!
