how good/important is artifact/enchantment removal? how should i value the 3cc exile spell, the 4cc scry spell, or annul?

i meant more in relation to... say... prey on the weak or a decent creature (courser, for example). like are enchantments so common that i would consider enchantment removal over other types

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not but Thassa's Bounty is nice as a 1 or 2 of but I wouldn't play more than that.

the artifact and enchantment hate hits pretty much anything you want dead. I'd pick the Courser over Annul as that isn't a hard removal spell like the others

i have 2 annul but i feel like they're meaningless unless i keep U up all game and i don't think that's what this format is about.

that's what i'm asking i'm serious. i'm 97% sure you always play the first because draw 3 with "upside" is great, but having two 6cc spells that don't affect the board and aren't instant ala opportunity doesn't seem like the best.

there's no straight up card draw except for those shitty auras so having a bounty and going over the top in cards and hopefully card quality seems like another reason why you should only ever draft UG

i passed the 3/4 not expecting to wheel every copy of the 3/2. i'm pretty sure the 3/4 is better in a one-to-one comparison because 4 toughness is a sweet spot while 2 toughness dies to everything except for viper's kiss and the flame jab + scry

i don't think there have been enough sample drafts because every single time my deck is completely insane UG with no mana problems except maybe sometimes i want 18 land instead of 17.

it was that or a broken rare in a different color that wasn't blue or green so i went with the one that is technically monstrous.

the other enchantment removal is okay as one-ofs
thassas bounty seems bad to me, you're going to be using your mana every turn
