I'm willing to bet Sene has a Google alert set up for this site with a list of buzzwords. He's like the autistic NSA.

I went 4-1 and got 3rd. Lost to the undefeated player.

Won 8 packs but they were good. Thoughtseize, Heliod, Temple of Abandon, Hero's Downfall, Boon Satyr, Bident of Thassa, Gift of Immortality, Artisan of Forms

my thoughtseize was foil. you have shamed dtr!

Opened stormbreath dragon, decided not to play it because achieving UU, WW, AND RR in one deck probably isn't a good idea

red is actually a good support color in theros limited, assuming you can get the red ordeal, searing spear, and magma jet. it also has ember swallower.

that said, blue is pretty hot. White has the third best ordeal and black has the gray merchant apostle.

red seems fine in this set. it has the best common removal spell and there are only 3 hard removal spells that kill the dragon at common/uncommon, iirc (lash of the whip and sip of hemlock and the 4 damage red sorcery, as well as fighting with a 4+ power creature with this set's prey on the weak, the 3cc "plummet," and the 7cc 5 damage spell, but the former is only if there's a guy who can fight and the latter two are not maindeck cards i don't think). red has the double first strike instant, it has a 4/3 for 4, it has flamespeaker adept, it has a good ordeal, and it has cards with monstrous on them. also its rares are mostly all good.

white is the only color that i think is pretty bad, and you can actually string together good white cards and play them in a deck, unlike in m14.

2 headed

I lost on my win and in to top 8 at the only pre-re I played in.
Did a U/r aggro deck, with purphrous and Master of waves as the mondo combo.
Turns out my 60% blue deck can't beat a 6/6 haste pro blue hydra....

the two headed snake is both common and overall superior to enemy of mortals, but they're both good cards.

probably. welkin tern at 2 is the best 2-drop pretty much hands down and the 3/4 that scrys when you cast spells is awesome. you also have the 3/2 flash that untaps a guy, arguably one of the best limited bestow creatures, griptide, annul, scry unsummon, triton tactics, and crackling triton all at common.

aside from the asp and the 2/2, i don't recall any other reach creatures in the set and there are very few flying creatures in other colors.

UG nets you the 3/2 flash flier and the 3/2 unblockable, UR activates triton crackler, UW nets you more fliers, UB nets you removal

Sometimes your boros opponent opens Elspeth and the Hammer, and sometimes they play both of them in one game.

Then sometimes your like "omenspeaker SAVE ME" and she's like "naw dog"

I had the UB Siren in my 4-1 pool and never activated either ability but did use it for biting at my opponents life total or blocking + Lashing something. It was fine.

like it's a fine strategy if you get the right stuff but blue has good removal
