We're just waiting for a "gameworn" pair of underpants to show up to complete the Crank shrine
Whenever I think your comments can't get more disgusting, you thoroughly prove me wrong. Well done.

I'm in for testing / brewing.

Do we have a thread with the clan gauntlet list? I think such a thing would help over the ENTIRE season if we had a standard set to check our brews against so that way other people could help with results and testing.

As a compromise, I'll save the list as The Crank File. :p

If anyone's interested, then send me a PM with whatever info you'd want to share.

c'mon DPaine, follow your heart and play Rakdos Control. No more Falkenrath Aristocrat for you to ogle, but it should be a good deck. Just make sure whichever R/x deck you go with, pickup your playsets of Chandra before Theros hits and M14 stops getting drafted.

Haha I want to badly but really want that scry land!

Got 3 Chandra already :-)

R/B still might be the way to go! I want to play excava

For Alex and whoever else has this idea:

Articles by Micheal Bahr of Desert Sky Games
Greetings! I am the managing partner of Desert Sky Games LLC, which will open its flagship store this summer in Gilbert, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix. I have also had an ownership stake in five game stores since 1997 – some successful, others disastrous. --7/24/2012

These are very good articles and I would read a book by this guy in a heartbeat. I would say these are almost required reads for anyone thinking about going into hobby retailing.

I'd consider Ember Swallower over Exava. For all intents and purposes it's a vanilla 4/5 for 4, but that actually looks to be pretty well positioned atm - as dumb as that sounds.

I'll vouch for Michael Bahr. His store came into AZ very recently and it's quickly dominated with regards to popularity. Their FNMs are regularly 6-7 rounds and sometimes 8. It's disgusting.

I think we should agree on a standardized deck list for each of these and get them all in a thread in our clan brewing.

GW in the list? Tokens and Hexproof?

I'm happy to help test on MTGO, but my schedule is very limited. I'm studying for my professional engineer exam in late October, so my attention will be sparse. I can loan cards to members if needed so we can find a tight list for states.

Think we could get admin to replace the anniversary message with a "don't forget to order an FoS shrit" one? It would be a shame if anyone didn't get a shirt just because they didn't see the thread, and personally, I'd prefer if I didn't have to pay $50 for a Polo.

I started a thread in the general Clan area so it'd get more traffic.

The link I
used directs to the restricted thread, but thankfully the announcement only shows up to members of the site. Guests see the old one about the anniversary.

Dunno if Scumbag is gonna care or not. Figured if it bothers him he can just change it back since he still has the text for the other announcement still.

Honestly, I'm undecided.

When I can get around to testing, I'll be doing the Kuroda Boros or a Sligh version using Fanatic of Mogi as the curve topper.

I guess it's going to ultimately boil down to one question: How badly do I want to play Thunder Thighs? Cuz Kuroda Boros is the perfect home for her. Other than that, I really want to blow someone out on turn 4 with a 6 damage Mogi ETB effect before swinging for some damage.
