with a slegdehammer build like that with a higher curve i wouldn't be surprise if its just an extra white source with scry.

edit: you could also use it to mess with your opponent so they think your running jeskai.

deflecting palm: bad against small agro good against midrange/ big guys. If you don't likeit, don't run it. Where the deck is already solid against small creatures it dosen't hurt to shore up g1's against midrange/big guys. as a 2 of the chance to get both in your opening hand is so small agruing ab...

Resolute Archangel is nice but at 7 mana when we only run 4 painlands and we have mb seeker it probably doesn't belong in a deck like this. Kind of on the fence for rabble mb, it's definitely a clock but as you said its prone to getting walled and feels like he'd be more at home in a deck with anthe...

After watching bbd an cvm playing with pain lands in their vs videos, damage from lands is a big part of the game and running 10 could kill you pretty quick so you'd be forced into a 4 of seeker just to balance the damage from your own lands but hes pretty good anyways so it could work.

In line with kait's thought of dropping the 5 drops one could run flame-wreathed phoenix . 4 mana gets you either a 5/5 flyer (harder to deal with than ashcloud though it usually means the opponent has a way to deal with it giving you potential insight into the cards they have), or a 3/3 flyer with ...

curios what purpose forge devil serves beside bringing it in against small agro, but with shortcutters and frenzied it seems a bit niche. if that's what its for scouring sands or electricery could be better as a wipe instead of a single target kill.

Not liking the bloodseekers mainboard or as a 4 of unless your meta is swamped with small agro that you can burn off ( wouln't wanna waste a 4 damage spell on a creature ( outside of mortars) if I could avoid it just to pump altac a little.

With the amount of 3 color decks that'll probbly pop up after mana confluence comes out how viable is running burning earth? Clearly you dont wanna run it while we're on the dega setup but cutting back to just red and white with the pressure added by our spells it could close out alot of games.

If your opponent is running creature heavy for a black deck then maybe, but black has so many ways to instantly kill it in response to you casting stuff hes more of a dead card then anything else. Personally I'd side it out.
